Despite being the weekend after Bank Holiday, this night really went down a storm.
Stu-E and the whole Funked-Up crew pulled out all of the stops to create one hell of a good night. Sure it could have done with a better turnout, but we were there for the music not some super gathering.

The night progressed well, with Lil Kev starting with energy and pace that didn't die for the rest of the night, setting a bar which meant the other DJ's would all have to put up a quality performance.


Luckily they did, each ones unique style bringing something new to the table. They kept the main room dancing, whilst the side room was jumping around to funky house


Stu-E, one of the promoters for the night, did a fantastic job, both on the decks and off, where he looked after both me, and the other special guest, Bilbo Bongo of Hands on Percussion. Whether he was buying us beers, himself beers, or everyone at the bar beers, he seemed to be happy in the fact that everyone else was happy (and after his fantastic set, who wouldnt be happy?).


All in all it was an enjoyable night, and I will be honored if I get to go to the next one!
