February 28th 2008 sees Error crashing Bognor Regis’s Mud Club! We are thrilled, excited and delighted that at this, as the Mud Club has earned a reputation for delivering quality underground music in a safe, friendly environment - with a touch of class! With Error’s unique music policy of cutting edge tech-house, acid-house, breaks and phat electro, the pairing of Mud and Error, not forgetting rooms hosted by Cartel and Opus, this looks like the makings of a top night out!
Room 1, the ‘Main Room’, hosted by Error sees the Error residents The Cubists and Rogue State joined by the extraordinary talent of Mr Rob Mooney who promises a journey through intoxicating electronic beats. Since 2006, when Rob hit the top of the Beatport Chart with ‘Feeling Electro’, Rob has built a rock solid reputation as a leading breakthrough producer and DJ, with support from the likes of Carl Cox, Tiesto, Nic Faunciulli, James Zabiela and Lee Burridge. His label Bass for Breakfast has also seen much success with hits such as ‘Isolate the Target’, ‘Truck Driver’ and ‘Beehatch’ all receiving support from the top jocks. On the DJ front, Rob has played at many top clubs around the UK and globe including Ministry of Sound and the legendary Turnmills, impressing crowds with his skills behind the CDJs, whilst embracing new technology in his live shows with Ableton Live, expect roaring techno and filthy electro! Ivan Direct of Rubberdub completes the main room line-up, bringing his colourful jackin’ sounds to Bognor!
Room 2, the ‘Star Bar’, sees Portsmouth’s premier house night ‘Cartel’ takeover with cutting edge underground house music that’s cool but still able to cane it! Cartel residents Phil ‘Moonface’ Thompson, a former Bedrock DJ and producer; Tim Cook, Cartel Head Honcho with releases on Railyard and Kismet Records; and wonder boy Tommy Mundell are all expect to deliver, crossing the boundaries of house and techno, layering synths and tribal beats, with the odd party anthem to get things moving!
Room 3, the ‘VIP Room’, is hosted by Opus, a new venture from those wacky techno and progressive kids; Rich Jones, Craig Rickman and Dave Colclough, who are all well known for pushing the boundaries of electronic music getting very deep, dark and twisted!
