Personally I'd much rather go to Crank than the Operah House, having had many nights at the OH in the past, it simply doesn't compare!

Any way... on a lighter note... What a wicked night! Just sad it was over so fast!

The night started off with a slight downer as the couple I was to be coming down with couldn't make it in the end, but it didn't really matter, as it is always really good see the usual suspects (HNH, Julie & Darren). It was also brilliant to meet some new people ( Chris, Millie, Amy & co), and to catch up with old friends I haven't seen for a while.... And all encapsulated in the marvel that IS Hed Kandi!

My only dilema for the night was which room to be in... I really needed to be able split in half last night. Such good qulity music in both rooms. Got completely lost downstairs grooving some damn funky electro, and dirty house, courtesy of the Dans for about an hour, before remembering to go back upstairs, spend some time with friends, and catch my breath..

@Mr Bailey: Was that a remix of "The Bassheads - Is There Anybody Out There" you played last night... it was hurting my brain trying to remember what the original track was... - And enjoyed your scratching, as always!

Just listened to the CD (thanks Jules) and can't help feel a little sad that the night was all over so quick... grrr... :o(

@Julie, Helen & Darren: What happened to you guys? The one time I manage to make it past 3am, and you guys up and disappear on me!! He-he! I hope all three of you had a fantastic time there. You all looked like you did! :o)

The only thing that let the night down at all is the fact that maybe Crank could do with an extra bar somewhere, for when it is busy like that. 20 minutes wating to get served (although some of that was due to the young bar girls not serving in order!) is a tad frustrating...

But apart from that.... ROLL ON FEBRUARY'S HED KANDI..! Lets have some more! Although hopefully I'll see some of you at BedBug on the 25th January, for my birthday celebration.

Dibley we had been on the go since 7.30 babe, by 3.30 I had had it!! And my new shoes where a huge problem, I was actually bare foot by the end of the night.
Well aside from the foot issue the man of the night for me had to be Chris Bailey, he worked so hard as did the bongo guy, no let up for them and they kept it going!! True legends!!
