I haven't been to a hed kandi for a while - gathered up some mates and thought we'd make a night of it, seeing as it was a twisted disco... got there about 12 to a pretty decent floor, the night looked promising... failed to deliver, left by 3.

- I thought itd be good - utter shit. it was like a load of classics, put through some Tomy "My First Remix" machine! Not a hint of filth or anything decent. Destination Calabria? You're havin a laff aint ya danny?? I didnt hear anything new, I did hear some BAD key clashes that hurt my ears!

Glamourous/Beautiful Crowd
- no chance, a few bits of nice skirt but mostly its a has been on the social calendar - lurkin blokes in top shops finest, not even an orange glow to be seen. By 2 hardly a girl in site and I cant say I blame em.

Exactly.I play out every week,mostly vocal upfront house,from soul based right up to the edge of tech house.Some people take the piss cos they say oh your not underground enough!Well all i will say is i have a huge following and get the people dancin and hands in the air have to throw em out when the lights come on! Without resorting to cheesy pop influenced crap.

well i only usually steam in when people get personal - by all means, not everyone can and will like hed kandi and it would be a dull old world if we all liked the same things. There are plenty of things i don't like (Monster Munch, rude kids, anything made with Aubergines and Emmerdale to name but four) but that doesn't mean that I expect everyone to agree and i certainly wouldn't slag off the people involved with those things, nor question their abilities and motives and musical beliefs. If you don't like hed kandi, fair enough, find something you do like and enthuse over that instead...and if you do like hed kandi, then come along, we're glad to have you.

and if that's true about opinions/assholes...then I've got quite a peachy opinion but it's heading southwards at an alarming rate!

I love monster munch and Hed Kandi and im very proud to be associated with it, long may it continue with it's success and popularity...;o)
