DELETE CHRISTMAS PARTY with EKKOHAUS VS ALBAN HI DINI ( LIVE ), CESAR ( DJ SET )
Delete is a hipnotic mixture of squeeks and bleeps with resident dj duo Pseudo Funk and guests Ekkohaus VS Alban Hi Dini ( LIVE ) and Cesar.

Pseudo Funk

Pseudo Funk, dj duo, Delete's residents. Pseudo Funk is the creation of one talented 21 year old going under alias' such as Tone Def and Tony Guinness, with sights on a regular club night in London. 2007 should see the Pseudo Funk Net Label officially up and running with big prospects and ambitions of a record label Pseudo Funk are focused on the task ahead. In Bournemouth Pseudo Funk is the sound of Tone Def and Sam Smith djing back to back with their constant changing style of peak time minimal and unpredictable twists.

Ekkohaus

Ekkohaus was born in the seventies somewhere in Greece. He took piano lessons and later won a scholarship in an orchestra percussion course. He studied vibraphone and marimba but after 5 years of classical education he decided he had enough. He bought his first Roland drum machine and a cheap synthesizer and soon was transferring midi data between the 2 devices. Since then he has been introduced to computer music and nowadays only a small amount of his music is generated by hardware equipment. During the nineties, Ekkohaus was playing vibraphone chords on top of smoky downtempo beats while triggering weird samples from an old tape recorder. Some people said it was trip-hop. That was about to change when his naughty friends introduced him to rave parties, faster upbeat music and lovely smiley people. Several years have now passed. Ekkohaus now lives in London and recently got a B.A. (Arts) in Music technology. His beats are more minimal with deep baselines and quirky, spaced-out samples. He can be seen spinning his records in various venues and parties, or even plugging his laptop to the closest sound system... Although ekkohaus is not a religious person, he is said to be member of a secret cult that claims to be in search of the magic loop, an ecstatic situation created by the monotonus repetition of a specific frequency of rhythmic sequence, whisper , rain etc etc...

Alban Hi Dini

Aldan Hi-Dini is one of the most innovative techno producers from the emerging east london dance scene. He has collaborated with a handfull of artists and released his music on labels such as Safari electronique and treibstoff...Together with Ekkohaus, they have formed a live duet, and the last few months have been taking over venue after venue in London...

Cesar

After releasing on the notorious Parisian Label Circus company in 2003 Cesar decided to move to London where he has developped his two passions, Music and Graphic Design.

We discovered his groves in the dark corners of deepest shoreditch where he has been playin for parties such as Sud electronic, Run, Multivitamins, Modern, Plugin, Retox, Playground, and has two residencies for I love aki and Multivitamins.
Although he's based in London he keeps on moving worldwide in places such as Berlin (Cassiopeia, Klub der Republik...), Ibiza (Space), Italy, France, and festivals in Ireland and Poland...

He's played along side dj's and producers such as Troy Pierce, Jay Haze, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss, Someone Else, Jeff Milligan, Portable, Miss fitz and many more...

He's now working on his future releases and started a project called miso miso with Ekkohaus (multivitamins, boxersport)
Look out for new releases on Circus company, Multivitamins (tbc), Minimallondon imprint, Safari electronic (tbc)

Seriously mate? I give it five minutes :)

Vodka jellies will be sorted, no worries! I'm gonna do double the amount this time, they went pretty sharpish lat time. Any requests for flavours?

Not looking good for an after-party at the mo, my flat's a no-go - far too small, and Ben's flatmate doesn't seem up for a party at his. Anyone else know of any possibilities? We'll bring loads of people game for spinning tunes till god knows when in the morning/afternoon, friendly (if a little wonky) party people and we'll help clean up!

Only 3 days to go now...

I'll leave that to you mate!

In other news, just mentioned it in the Tunes Chat but thought I'd find out here as well - who's up for Hawtin Magda and Gaiser at The End on 30/12/06? Perfect warm-up for new year, and it'll fill in that minimal shaped hole left in the month between Deletes! You know you need it - where else will you get your recommended intake of wobbly weirdness?

Quality mate - Delete has always been about pushing the mainstream talent to the underground masses - it's a crossover! Can you make it the really straight-up limp wristed boring hed kandi stuff - none of that "Twisted Disco" bollocks- it's not like we're all on drugs and like that weird shit.

Random bit of trivia - Put your hands up for detroit was originally by Matthew Dear and was the first record released on Ghostly... it's not that great either

No...course not mate...well we'll see about that this time tomorrow eh?
