Andrea Kalenda was born in Rome (Italy) some years ago but at present he is
based in London UK.
He started as DJ in 1986 playing at numerous private parties and after some time
also in many clubs in Rome, Rimini, Florence, Bologna and so on.
From 1986 to 1992 he's been playing various styles such as dance, hip hop,
new beat, acid house and house music. In 1993 he completely changed his
sound to straight up deep hard techno and minimal techno tracks.
In 1995, in his own studio (I.M.L. - Interference Midi Lab), OCTAD
produced the first tracks for his new label "Voyager Records" jointly with
Remix Records Shop in Rome and Neuton Distribution in Germany resulting,
January 1996, in his first release: "Brain Emission e.p."
Four years later he found a new label "Rough Recordings" in oriented Detroit
techno style.
During all those years (1995 - 2004), he was working in various productions
with several international artists, such as Marco Bailey and the Portuguese
DJs: DJ Ze Miguel; DJ A. Paul; DJ Jiggy, as well as Italians DJ/producers and
friends: Freddy K, Sabino Rossignoli, Max-M, Dash-T, Pierantonio Gualtieri.
In February 2004 he played for the first time in London a live set at one
Wang (www.wanging.com) party in Hackney area with DJ Mark Broom,
Squarepusher, DJ Raw, Phiorio and Marco D'Arcangelo (Rephlex).
Octad is playing in different clubs in London and abroad.
PHIORIO
Phiorio is Gianpeiro Fiorin, Italian born who moved to London circa 1998. Back in Italy, his diverse musical preferences spanned everything from rock to electronica; this diverse background forming the foundation of his musical knowledge and understanding. Moving to London made him take close contact with the club scene and made him want to start spinning records: techno records to be precise.The thriving London Free Party provided the perfect playing field to put these newly honed skills into practice. This exciting period brought about a collaboration with London based Sound System KSS and in the last three years, together with the KSS crew, Phiorio has played at underground events in both the UK and abroad.His DJ sets have developed massively since the early days of tough techno. The tempo has gradually slowed down and techno has been mixed more and more with minimal and hypnotic sounds.Over the years Phiorio has been playing an numerous clubs & bars both in England and abroad alongside techno and minimal techno artists such as Space DJ’s, Mark Broom, Heartthrob, Alex Smoke just to name a few….Moving on current projects, the busy Italian co-runing Metroline Recordings. Created to enable him and other people to explore new minimal sounds. Online and in the physical world the minimal movement can be explored and taken to new levels.Through Metroline Phiorio has recently started releasing his works.

Italian born Carlo is also known as Raw.
Being influenced by artists like Jeff Mills, Claude Young, Ritchie Hawtin, he started with a handful of friends to promote his own underground club in Rome, AbstractWorld. Spreading his sounds throughout the trendiest clubs in Italy (Cube,Cyborg) and the UK playing for successful clubs such as Wang, Nothing Hill Arts Club, Click and KSS sound system following international gigs in Miami and
Santo Domingo. He has been playing at the side of Marco Bailey, Squarepusher,D'Arcangelo,Francesco Farfa,Francesco Zappala' and more, setting dance floors ablaze with his stylish yet sets. Nowadays he is performing with three decks and FinalScratch and Live that gives him the opportunity to experiment even more with new beats. He has launched together with his fellow djs Octad and Phiorio his own record label Metroline Recordings.Mainly influenced by new deep electronic minimal glitchy techno.

Delete is very proud to boast residents as talented as Pseudo Funk. As
well as their monthly appearances at Dusk Till Dawn, they regularly
play at nights in London and beyond, with a steadily increasing profile
in the UK scene and releases on some of the most exciting underground
labels around at the moment. Pseudo Funk is the combined sound of Tone Def & Mr Smith, playing a blend of House, Micro House, Minimal Techno, Techno back to back.
