Frenzy's hard house re-launch @ Empire Club on Sat 2nd December
New hard house home for Frenzy

Frenzy are pleased to announce that we have a new home. After searching high and low and meeting with the movers and shakers of Bournemouth's nightlife we have kindly accepted the offer to be one of the new monthly promotions at the Empire Club.

For those that don't know it, the Empire Club was formerly Club Alcatraz at Lansdown a few doors on from the Fire Station.

The Empire Club

The club has recently come under new ownership and has had an extensive re-furbishment. In addition to this the club is now re-positioning itself within Bournemouth's club scene.

The club is over 3 floors and Frenzy will be taking on the basement and middle floor as from Saturday the 2nd of December.

The club is ideal for a hard house night, as we firmly believe that underground clubnights work best when they're... well... underground. And Empire club has a wicked basement just right for this. For those of you that remember our days at Passion (RIP) I would say it has a similar layout to that.

Bouncy, fun, hard house music

Our plan for our first party is to remain faithful to the Frenzy sound with our bouncy hard house vibe in the basement. After all, that's what we're all about.

House music...

However, on the middle floor, where people are welcomed into the club, we will have house tunes. This will be more of a place to step out of the basement and we felt that this was something that would work particularly well as there is more seating and a bigger bar. Essentially this area can let you all chill out a little if the basement gets too much for you... lightweights!

This leaves the serious hard house business to take place downstairs which is where it should naturally be.

The Empire Club is a proper nightclub built for purpose. Whilst we're sad to be leaving the Pier and Showbar, we believe this is a step in the right direction. Not only that but it's more accessible as it's not so far off the beaten track.

More info

More information will be online very soon so make a date in your diaries for this one.

If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a line.

Event details can be accessed here.

I would finally like to thank all the clubbers, DJs, promotors, and venues that have kindly offered to help us out over the last couple of weeks whilst we've been looking for a new venue.

A step in the right direction, I would agree too.

The club has a real nice vibe to it, comfy sofas for when you need to chill, lol

See you down there for this one Marc, glad you got the Empire ;-)

I do so love to see the back of your head Marc!

YAY by the way for getting a new venue - rest assured I will be there. In fact I spoke to Scott tonight and told him, and I've warned Andy that I'm staying that weekend so I will see you there and that's a promise!

Love to Carrie - roll on the 2nd..............

Cheers Sel,

I think he's pulling our legs some what... I can't imagine Dan ever being in an R&B night!

PS - there is now a competition online to win tickets.

I think Dan's more B&B than R&B - he's getting to that age...
