Hiya..it's a gay night,and normally on a Bank Holiday Sun,lately though they've been on a Sat too..The music is more funky house and it's a pretty good night..

I'm one of the promotors for bolts so if there's anything you need to know about it let me know and i'll see what I can do!

Basically its a massive gay/mixed night for hassel free clubbing - gay clubbing that you'd only expect from places in London like Heaven or dtpm etc

Lately the opera house has seen the potential of bolts and has given us a premium night - the 1st saturday of each month - as well as our historic bank holidays.

ive been told that on saturday nights its free drinks, provided u pay entry fee (of course) n ive also seen it somewhere aswell!!! is dis i=at bolts aswell??

no its not free drinks anymore, that was a while ago, its usually £1.50 a drink on saturdays providing its not a really big night

the opera house used to do saturday nights where it was just drink as much as you want for a certain price 20 quid gives you more bars and a better range than say 10 quid.

they've stopped this now .... thank god.

Each month see's the opera house have a different night on a sat ie for this september the saturdays are:

3rd Dicky Darr's School Disco - Disco Dean, Danny Francis

10th ‘Bolts’ with Bananarama (live PA).£8 in advance. £8 b4 11pm and £10 after. Gorgeous in room 2.

17th It's an Urban Thing - Experi-mental - Dougal, Gammer, MC Odyssey, Smiley

24th FishSeeksBicycle – Baby Head, Bafaana. DJs: Ben Logue, Chris Pedley and Crafty Rascals. £6 in advance. £8 b4 11pm and £9 after.

For bolts there are drink promo's before 11pm @ 1.50 per drink on all the sats and bank holidays we do.

Yes all being well - if enough people turn up! - it'll be open!!!!

With Banarmarma on downstairs it should be very busy so i'm dam sure it will be open.
