Treva Whateva headed into town after being let out of the ninja Tune Bunker where he has been preparing his new and highly anticipated album "music made of memories" which will be pre-cursered by an EP "We have the technology" any day now.

For me, he and Mr Scruff have an edge on the "serious" DJ fraternity as they hve managed to encorporate some fun back into Djing.

Treva was supported on the night by resident wax-ologists DJ Cursa and Jabba Tha Kut who even managed to sneak a little bit of Justin Trousersnake under the radar....

Treva managed to mix up a storm and had a mass of plates to choose from. he is the only person i know that can fumble in a bit of Mos Isley, Star Wars alongside the Ragga Twins and a funky mix that sounded like The Beastie Boys mixed with the Banana Splits.

I managed to get a quick interview with the man just before the set and the whole thing can be seen on www.consortium.co.uk at the end of the week. he talks about Hot Pot FM and his new CD alongside his and Mr scruff's plans for the year.
