Uffie is an 19-year old girl from Miami. She discovered hip hop in the land of dirty south, and she never got rid of it. A few years ago she moved to Paris and ended up in the fashion world. When she booked DJ Feadz to play at a show, they met and fell in love. Eventually, Feadz asked her to do some vocals for his forthcoming project. Thus, Uffie was born. She recently released her debut EP on Ed Banger Records, which is run by Pedro Winter, the man responsible for introducing such seminal acts as Daft Punk and Cassius to the world. Featuring production work by such luminaries as Mr. Oizo, Feadz, and Sebastian, her debut EP merges hip-hop lyrics with cutting edge electronic beats. Tickets from the Consortium. £6 NUS £5
