Back on the block and ready for action We Are Your Friends are proud to present the autumn leg of it's epic multi-venue festival The Block Party! Get set to join 2,500 party people taking to the streets and become part of the most exciting event of the season and WAYF's biggest party yet!
For one night only Lansdowne is transformed into a playground of music, beats, cool arts, interactive shenanigans and good times. All spread across seven venues expect a marathon 12 hour spectacular of over fifty of the best cutting edge DJs & live acts, big surprises, after parties and festival fun.
One event wristband allows access to all seven venues, each hosting a line-up of the best acts and our club nights from electro to dubstep, indie to D&B, house to reggae and everything in between. Expect a host of other party antics to get stuck into including the legendary tiny silent disco, Cool Kids Karaoke, pop-up parties, crafts & stalls and graffiti walls.

Perhaps the most exciting new UK dance artist this year? We certainly think so. With his debut album firmly fixed to repeat on our Ipods over the summer, he has taken a 2-step, bass & dubstep sounds to new levels. With opens arms we welcome the masked mystery man SBTRKT for his first ever Bournemouth date.

Aka James Boyle has never been one to be pigeon holed. Moving effortlessly through styles from drum and bass to dubstep Breakage has proved himself to be one of the most versatile operators in either scene to date. As one of the the key artists on Shy FX's mighty Digital Soundboy label, his recent single Fighting Fire featuring Jess Mills, is one of the biggest dance tracks of 2011.

Austrian duo Reinhard Rietsch and Markus Wagner, otherwise known as Camo & Krooked have quickly become one of the hottest D&B production outfits in Europe. Releasing through Hospital Records these guys are about to launch into outer space! A serious must see for any drum & bass fan.

Tickets must be exchanged for wristbands & free event guides at the rear of the Old Fire Station between 8.00pm and 10.30pm on the night. The latest time for guaranteed exchange is strictly 10.30pm.
