The next Frenzy will be on Saturday the 14th of October at the Showbar. We're thinking about doing something slightly different with the DJ line-up this month.. I'll post the full details here over the coming days once everything is confirmed.

Dont know about that darling iv seen some right mutton in hot pants but you look alright, the only way for us to pass judgement would be for you to wear some at the next night and get your photo taken. If you dont like posing in them im sure i could accidently drop a cpl of beans on the ground.

Yeh Marc your doing a top job, keep it up, i reckon you need people flyering after clubs and leaving flyers and posters about as my mates havent known its on as they dont use the net, i only ever know its on because of DSI so i always check here as i live in Bristol now and mission it down.

zebedee oviously the intention was for you to bend over wearing hot pants and pick them up so we could give you our honest opinion as to whether your too old to be wearing hot pants. Maybe il drop a bean in your mouth if you find me and explain to me who you are but chances are i would have been up since friday and not entirely coherent.

I'm glad you had a good night, I know the music was very good that night so hats off to Chris C and Tidy's Paul Maddox.

With regards to the numbers that night you're right, the numbers weren't as good as we usually get which is usually around 400 people. By all accounts the whole of Bournemouth was very dead that night - and for us it was a disappointment as we thought the line-up was probably our strongest apart from when we had Guyver and Anne Savage when we used to do Destiny Club.

However, we're still committed to give Bournemouth clubbers something a little different to the norm.. but at the same time I think you'll agree that the town in general is suffering a bit of a lull when it comes to the alternative underground scene such as hard dance.

Just so you all know, the Showbar is due for a major re-invention in 2007 as the leaseholders of the venue Gamegrid are possibly due to convert the establishment into a restaurant. More information can be seen on this link here http://www.bournemouth.gov.uk/.

What this means for Frenzy is that we only have a couple more events held here so giving the history of the place as a hard dance venue it's up to us to give it the send off it deserves...

...and we hope as many of you can be part of that as is possible!

lol, I knew what the intention was! however I will leave the bending over to somebody else or we may have an eclipse, mind you in a club that might be quite something!

Update to line-up

We've not had any female DJs play since Anne Savage so on the 14th of October we're having an all female line-up with our usual residents and guest DJs having a rest. Having said that Scott may be persuaded to play in drag if the need arises.

The majority of the female DJs on the night will be relatively local and I'll post their names up here over the coming days. It would be good to get your support on this one, especially considering we've only got this plus one other left at the Showbar before it closes its doors to clubbers.
