It’s been two years now since Hard Trance Legend Carl Nicholson founded the now highly revered Presence Recordings. In this time Presence has gone from being a little known new label to now becoming one of the most respected giants of the digital industry with major support from many big guns including Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage and Tidy Boys to name only a handful.

Now as we reach our second birthday, Presence up’s the anti and brings the masses our very own event aptly named ‘Presence’, but this will be unlike anything you have ever seen outside of London, it will be showcasing the pioneering DJ’s of our era along with today’s more discerning elitist performer, we will be Berkshire’s first and only multi genre event, playing everything from House to Old Skool and Trance to Hard Dance, and all this will be beautifully orchestrated to create a unique crescendo to the evening and one of the best nights of your life.

And here it is my friends!! Presence, in the raw…………., and to be fair, it couldn’t have come at a better time! Recession……………..Constantly being screwed over by the powers that be………….and what for I hear you ask yourself????,………To live in a country that is only but an island yet once we were the most indestructible force in existence………and why was that??? In my personal opinion, it was because we had freedom………, to do exactly what we want to do, when we wanted to do it, and we lived our lives the way we wanted to live…and though only small, we fought for what we believed in and that my friends is a commodity that a price cannot be placed on and that is why now a new revolution has come to our gates!!!!....

Just when you thought some special was a thing of the past, of yesteryear so to speak, Higher Times Productions bring you a team that has over 100 years of combined experience collectively, has put on events in virtually every major venue in the south, has worked with MIXMAG, BIG BEAT BOUTIQUE, TDV and MISS MONEYPENNYS to name only but a few, and is more geared up than a pit bull terrier on amphetamines to deliver what can only be described as historically monumental event.



JON PLEASED WIMMIN is a name that can never ever be mentioned in jest, this bloke has scoured the indentations in to what we call ‘Dance Music’ from the very beginning, starting his apprenticeship with the now infamous Rachel Auburn, in her fashion boudoir. Jonathan Cooper was a little known student of fashion until he began his drag stint with the ‘Pleased Wimmin’, and from there Jon became synonymous with the like’s of Tony De Vit, Judge Jules, Seb Fontaine and the man that gave him his first major residency at ‘Glam’, Danny Rampling as being one of the most forward thinking and in demand Deejays whom ever graced our bit of dirt, my friends, and there is not a person on this planet that can say otherwise.

CARL NICHOLSON is a true legend in ever single sense of the word. From his humble beginnings as a struggling homeless hardcore MC, Carl has always taken pride in being commonly known as ‘the people’s D.J’, Carl has been there, got the t-shirt, the video, and the autobiography when it comes to floor knowledge and this has earned him the accolade of without doubt being considered as one of the ‘hardest working’ and respected artists in his field. From ‘Times Like These’ to ‘Blueprint’(Tara’s Theme), this man annihilates every dance floor in his wake and is a true testimony that every man can live his dream if only he has the tenacity to overcome.

CRAIG CONSTANT………….if ever there were a true shining star this man would and does almost certainly fit the bill. Craig has come from playing to his mates to playing alongside Legends in only but a year, and its easy to see why……..faultless mixing…..unique personality…and a the looks of a true Adonis, Craig just keeps on delivering again and again and again.

D-MANIC, a name not familiar to many but if I said ‘DJ NUT NUT’ you would know that this fella knows his craft inside and out. Dean Nicholson (Yes, Brother of Carl!!!lol), has been spinning tunes since the early days of rare groove and hip hop, then got his break and was billed alongside house hold names including the infamous GOLDIE, Dean is one of those people who can whip up pretty much a set of any style give him an hour, and we are very proud to be the spring board in D-Manic’s resurrection.

SHANE HUNTER has been a name that many would have seen recently in the local area of dance shenanigans, and is proving every time that he is a name to be reckoned with. With sets at The Beat Addiction, Spangled and now looking to be a regular at Presence, fear not my friends as Shane is most definitely on the case.

HEMLOCK, has been a London Underground stalwart now for nearly 2 decades and believe me this man knows his forte. With a bag of literally any genre, Hemlock can get the masses moving with ease and clarity, and this is why, we at Presence class him as invaluable and are looking forward to hearing him smash it up once more.
