Parlez-Vous says Au Revoir

What to say – my senses are still all over the place, torn between mourning the loss of an event I truly loved, to still not getting over how fantastic the night was.
First on, Cookie (Parlez-Vous/Biscuit Monsters DJ competition winner) set the pace, and what a pace. True to the PV reputation of no nonsense hard house – The message tonight was “If you’re not here to dance your ass off, then get out and make room for someone who is”. And Cookie was using a sledge hammer to back it up. Next Morgan (GoodGreef res). Having had to be escorted into the building to avoid the Pro Cheese Lobby due to his recent public outbursts, and I quote “I wouldn’t give cheese to sewer rats”. And in a final gesture of defiance pounded out one of his best sets to date, fueling up the PV crowd and setting the path for the – Master – Andy Farley
Even those who were there who’ve seen Andy play before weren’t ready for what was about to come. Andy took advantage of the already frenzied crowd and worked his magic,calling on all his skill to bang out a set that was totally awe inspiring .
Where to go from here ? enter Deano (Parlez-Vous res) for grot of unparallelled proportions and for those of you who’ve heard Deano get dirty, you know you’re in for a treat especially when its followed by Sam Townend (Tidy Label Manager) doing it the way only Townend can. And for the hardest of stompers still left standing, bring on Ben Stevens (Fireball Recordings)
The last set of the night – The Chicca-Mates (my wife Chicca-Babe and myself) very first night at PV, we walked into the middle of the hard dance floor and stood there for a couple minutes taking it in, on the decks was this energetic female dj who was driving a euphoric hard trance set that was out of this world. We both looked at each other and said she’s good. So it was rather poignant and fitting for me to see Cat (long standing PV res) take to the decks and punch out a hardhouse classics set that bounced the floor to oblivion.
I couldn’t or rather, wouldn’t stay till the very end. It would have got too emotional for me. So our group slipped away around 5.30 having being witness to an absolutely awesome final fling for an event that will long be remembered.

Thanyou Irish Dave for the effort you put in to make Parlez-Vous the event it was and to the dj’s who put their time and effort in to help make it what it was. I wont name any in particular but they know who they are – and no doubt we will see you all soon in your separate ventures

All i'm gonna say is WHAT A FUCKING NITE!! PV was absolutely mint and will b sorely missed, c ya later!!

That was good dave ,Pv will not be the same with out the mill and staff that work there thank you for 3 good fucking years...........
