Crikey, It's nearly been a year! November 6th 2006 was the launch of Brighton's first and only Internet Radio station dedicated to bringing you the best of all the different types of electronic and not-so-electronic music. What started off as a weekend only venture very rapidly exploded into a 7 days a week affair! We now have live shows running from 6PM – Midnight weekdays and Midday to Midnight on the weekend. We cover everything from Dubstep to Techno and even a little but of the old guitar based music in the form of Brighton's Calling and The Sister Sandwich Show. It's been a hard slog but the end result has been more than worth it. A Breakspoll nomination after being on the air for 3 months and the calibre of the DJs and Shows we have on Brap.FM says it all really. Our own Crunchtown night has had 2 gigs and Brap DJs have had their first proper gigs off of the back of their shows. We've played at Festivals and Club Nights and we plan to do much much more in 2007/2008. So to celebrate we're throwing a party. A big eff-off old mashup on Friday November 16th at The Arc Bar on Brighton's Seafront. We'll be ramming in as many Brap DJs as we can in an old school back-to-back stylee and shennanigans kick off at 10:30PM. Expect to hear pretty much everything from House to Breaks and DNB to Techno. We're starting off easy and ending up on the ceiling!
