CATZ aka CHESHIRE CATZ - Biography

All the best London producers have their roots in the warehouse and house party scenes. But even in the early days of the Cheshire Catz, Jon Blond and Dan Gerrett were doing something that little bit more out there than their contemporaries. Like the early “Cheshire Street sessions” after which the Catz were named - a set of parties that had to be finally abandoned when NYE 2004 saw an insane 1500 people crammed into four flats across a shared rooftop terrace. Or “At Night”, a set of six parties that eschewed the typical London warehouse approach of minimal music and decoration and maximum attitude - in favour of rocking the guts out of a set of secret, dressed up locations...

BEN PROK - biography

In Ibiza for June 2002, Ben took an exclusive guest slot at Plastic Fantastic, impressing established Ibizan DJs Tony Oneto and Jonathan Ulysses. This inspiring performance won him a 6 day-week residency lasting the entire season, and a further 5 months in 2003, appearing at some of the islands most celebrated venues, including Eden and Es Paradis.
With a string of successes under his belt, Ben moved to Brighton to consolidate his growing DJ career. He was instantly booked at the nationally renowned Zap and two weeks later landed a residency at the infamous Honey Club. "The Honey has definitely been my favorite residency," says Ben. "I get plenty of opportunity to open up new sounds, playing to an awesome, responsive crowd week in week out." In 2004 Ben made an acclaimed debut at Dusted. No sooner had he finished his set than he found himself booked as sole resident for all future Dusted Brighton events. He followed up his success with a fantastic 2005 and 2006 has seen Ben booked alongside Roger Sanchez, Eric Morillo and Pete Tong among others.

YUSUF SEBAITI - biography

Gorgeous resident for over 5 years, Yusuf has developed into one of Brightons best home grown talents, not only in Djing but in being instrumental in the success of many Brighton nights - such as DPM, Gorgeous,Junkbox and of course LA MANANA, the infamous sunday moring after party @ the funky buddha where he takes things a little bit more wrong, the list goes on!!

Playing the full spectrum of upfront house to techno and able adapt to any setting and club, the success story will continue with London and over seas dates being announced later this month.

LA MANANA pres MARK STORIE from TOOLROOM RECORDS & THE NINJA COWBOYS!!!

La Manana is back this weekend for a-mother night of debauchery and frolics on the seashore! Kicks of when most other clubs shut, and we finish when most people get up......Wallop!! La Manana - 3am -very, very late!

Mark Storie is a name to watch out for, making regular trips across the U.K and Abroad his energetic and enthusiastic dj sets are rapidly becoming known within the club scene.

On the production front his first solo release "Class A"(Toolroom Trax) has received multiple plays on
Radio 1,most notably 5 consecutive weeks on Eddie Halliwell's show. After the success of "Class A" Toolroom asked if he would remix the forthcoming release "Couldn't Love You More" by A-list heavy weights(Pete Tong,Paul Harris,Jay P) under the guise of the Factory. This was also aired several times on Radio 1.

Mark also has forthcoming productions with fellow cohorts Cos Demou and Johnny Mikes under their Ninja Cowboys moniker alongside Ed Kane look out for these on,Red Records,Berwick Street Records,Dirtbag Records and Dozer Records.

The DJ booth is also a comfortable place to be,with residencies and guest spots at TURNMILLS,THE KEY,MINISTRY OF SOUND,THE EGG, THE END,PACHA,THE CROSS and featuring on the TOOLROOM KNIGHTS club Tour. His Electro/Tech/Minimal House sets are packed with sinister drumbeats, perfect bridges between tracks, and when needed an uncanny ability to layer bass for extra punch. you can feel the confidence radiating of him as he bobs his head to perfectly matched bass lines!!!

Picking up on his talent Toolroom have put their full backing behind this rising star and are looking to further his career both on the DJing and production front.Look out for forthcoming new material and mixes on Toolroom along with a string of UK and Worlwide DJ dates.
