Playroom our busiest night ever!
We knew something good was in the air before Saturday night came round. With the biggest guest lists we had ever had prior to the night, and closing it through over subscription on Wednesday lunchtime (3 days before the event). This was gearing up to be our busiest Playroom ever.
By 11pm there were huge queues either side of the club, even the management said "Wow, this is going to be a big one". We were totally road-blocked!

We hired a couple of Pro-photographers to take lots of lovely shots of you guys in action pulling all kinds of weird and wonderful shapes. These will be posted within the next few days. I've seen a quick flash of them on the night, and they looked superb.

The DJ's were also all on form. New guy Chris Shepherd doing an excellent teasing warm-up set, and headliner Tastemakers (aka Nathan C) absolutely smashing it, followed nicely by my good self, then Roben ending the night on a vocal high, with chants of 'one more, one more', by the time the lights came on.

For those who were wondering what happened to the Top Arch DJ's?
Unfortunately due to an unforeseen double booking at the venue we had to move Alex Outram & Jon Woodhouse down into the Vodka Bar, where they funked it up, then blasted it out on a last minute set-up (Which was loud enough to get everyone shaking in their boots).
Nice work guys, and sorry for the set-up delays.

As everyone knows the inflatables, Space Hoppers etc. are snapped up so fast that next time we will put them out at two different stages, one at the start, one half way through, plus there are lots of new indestructible toys and games that we are working on.
The Bouncy Castle is always a show stopper, and once again proved to be a visual delight for all those outside.
The ball pit inside and on stage, as usual was filled with a mass of bodies doing all sorts of things(!).

This night was officially our busiest one ever.

We'd really love to know your thoughts, so if you have any suggestions on the night, or for any toys and games or anything else involved with Playroom, please feel free to send me an email djnippa@hotmail.com.

Watch this space – Remember Playroom returns in February 2009!

Huge thanks
from Nippa, Jan and all at Playroom

HERE, HERE! I totally second all of that. ('',)

Brighton has been relentlessly dead boring for some time but the PLAYROOM was an oasis of crazy fun and frolics right from the onset.

Well done guys, a night full of wicked peeps and awesome tunes, what more can you ask for on a Saturday Night!

I can't believe how awesome it was, everyone having so much fun and ques outside all night and a club packed till the end. Reminded me of clubbing a few years ago.

Roll on Feb.

I look forward to that then...I've been going out in London and elsewhere lately for the very reasons Firefly gave, so cheers to something buzzing and fun :-) in our hometown next year!
