Absolutely unreal night. Dinner was awesome, although will try something else next time.. Pizza was good but deffo liked the look of Ad's black squid risotto which made you lot all stare haha!

Dan's set was amazing - enjoyed Kintar and that Psy Acid track.. what was that Dan? Absolutely mint tune!

Loved Airwave's set from Andy Ling - Fixation onwards. Couldn't believe it when he dropped Age of Love then Universal Nation followed by 'Halo Varga - Future'. If there was one track I never expected to hear after that it was Push - Legacy. Probably the one track that had the whole crowd going mental in all honesty. Brought it back down really nicely for the start of Joofs set....

... which was stunning! (expect no less from you John haha). First 30 minutes was banging techno which went down really nicely. Then went straight into the psy . The whole set was amazing - especially loved all the Wizzy Noise, E-Clip and mostly Vibrasphere - Waveguide / Autumn Lights (as I'm sure you guys know when I noticed WaveGuide coming in ha!) Astral Projection - Prophecy topped it all off really well.

Savage night, was great to see everyone again. Good food + drink, six hours of absolutely quality music. We also have the new Joof Editions Mascot, pics to follow

Was great to hear all the classics from Laurent, hes a bit of a madman I think! Also John with Phaxe - The Getaway, The Prophecy, Binary remix, Sub 6 - Free Faller, and of course Stoneshaker to finish off. The club was absolutely ROASTING but I found the best spot right under the air conditioner.

Fantastic night, looking forward to the next one!

Edit: Just remembered Laurent also played Ivan Nikusev & Wav-E - Aurora (Relaunch remix) instead of his own mix which I was surprised at. I love the Relaunch mix anyway so it was all good

Edit2: I **suspect** (could be TOTALLY wrong here) that Johns first track was a collab that he did with Airwave. I'm guessing really but Laurent appeared to know it VERY well.

Gave in to temptation in the end and my god it was worth the effort. Music was even better than the first one, which was also superb. I was really impressed with Airwave. An impressive mix of stone wall classics such as 'age of love (watch out for stella mix)', 'fixation', 'the legacy' and 'metro' interspersed amongst some much slower tempo, typical warm up tunes. He whipped the crowd into a frenzy whilst maintaining the professionalism and flow. Thought at one point he had peaked the crowd too early, but then brought it down cleverly in time for J00Fs set.

John was as sublime as ever. Started out with what I am reliably informed is one of his new tracks, which had class written all over it; and then began hammering some serious, balls to the walls techno. The proggy bit was skipped over somewhat as the psy trance came in after around 40 mins, and got treated to the likes of 'Faulty Logic' and several E-Clip tunes. After about an hour and a half I felt the quality dropped momentarily as he startrd playing some of the more quirky full on psy, but he seemed to immediately read my mind and dropped in 'Phaxe - The Gateway'. At this stage the direction turned to maximum energy prog, with tunes from Vibrashere (Waveguide sounded immense). The penultimate half hour was definately my favourite. Wizzy Noise - 'Eyes Wide Open' and the under-played 'Sputnik', into a tune I've been waiting to hear for years - that pesky Micky Noize ID from GTG #74 (00.db spectacular)! This was followed by the Eleusyn remix of 'Oxygene', and then Astral Projection - 'The Prophecy' was the biggest display of energy I've ever witnessed. Was completely nackered for the final half hour, which included E-Clip - 'Crow', Protoculture's '1998' and an encore of Freq - 'Stone Shaker'.

It was the best night I've had for at least 3 years. Thanks so much to John, and also to everyone I met who attended :-)

I'm only going to reiterate what has already been said, but I also thoroughly enjoyed the night. Not only that, but my sister and her friends who decided they would come along also really liked it, and most of them had never experienced anything resembling trance music before. Granted they did sneak off to the VIP area (and drank fancy f***ing champagne) for a while, but they were genuinely impressed, which speaks volumes about what real trance music in a good venue should be about.

H Bar was a lovely little club, perfect size for the amount of people, and given that it wasn't a huge number the atmosphere was great. I came in late and missed the start of Airwave's set, I was expecting him to be good but nowhere near as good as he was, for a man who is primarily a producer his DJ set was as near as perfect, building up to 'Push - The Legacy' (amazing to hear that one) before effortlessly calming back down again. John took straight over which was probably the professional thing to do, I would have liked to hear the 'JOOF Editions Theme' although perhaps I missed that right at the start? The last three hours were very energetic, I'm not so good at IDing but most of the standout tunes have already been mentioned; 'Love Is The Key' was the Ovnimoon track John played, Airwave playing his Planisphere remix of 'Narel - Run' also sounded great. Also nice to see Laurent hang around in the crowd for the rest of the night.

Obviously it's the whole point of the project, but it's so refreshing to see someone who could be playing to massive arenas chosing to do gigs like this, and it was well worth making the effort to come down. Thanks again!

P.s. For future guests I'll echo Ovnimoon and Mickey Noise, and add Oliver Lieb since he seems to have an interest in making music again.
