In 2004, Just Fuck, featuring Toms own vocals, was released on UMM in the UK. The track built amazing support from Radio 1 specialists including Zane Lowe, Mary Ann Hobbs, Annie Nightingale, Annie Mac and Pete Tong, who named it a future classic. Norman Cook gave track an incredible 11/10 and the cheeky vocals were sung in thousands of clubs worldwide. The year was capped off with a prestigious award: Tom was announced as Best Breakthrough Producer at the House Music Awards.
Off the back of this widespread critical and commercial acclaim, Tom was asked to remix Keliss Neptunes-produced track Milkshake. Both Buzz Chart and Billboard Dance Chart No.1s quickly followed (in fact Toms remixes have earned him a total of 8 Buzz Chart No.1s). His remix of Mylo Destroy Rock & Roll was so popular it was included on Mylos album of the same title and Toms feisty electro-house mix of Studio Bs I See Girls (which he originally did in 2003 for the now defunct Multiply) became a worldwide hit. Indeed Tom is one of the most sought after remixers today, with acts including New Order and Ladytron having recently sought his reworks.
Toms follow-up single Buzz Junkie has received numerous plays on Radio One support from Pete Tong, Steve Lawler, Hernan Cattaneo and Sasha. The track, which signed to Tool Room Records and was released in February 2005 and earned him a cover on the February edition of iDJ.
Following the success of his last few releases Tom decided to launch his own imprint, Love Minus Zero, in November 2005. The debut release, Never Lose Your Grip/These Beats, received support from Annie Mac, David Guetta, Ewan Pearson, Ali B and Nic Fanciulli as well as a rash of strong press reviews.
Tom DJs worldwide and this year alone has completed tours of South America, South Africa, Australia, France, Eastern Europe and Russia as well as featuring on BBC Radio 1s Essential Mix.
