***Beat Circus 2007 - A Breaks Odyssey! We're One Year Old this month!***
WE'RE ONE YEAR OLD!!
The Beat Circus baby has made it, we're officially approaching toddlerhood and we're going to throw the best party yet to celebrate.

The usual eclectic mix of big bad breaks and dirty tech accompanied by live musicians will this month be a resident DJ's only line up, with THE SHOFAR HORNS and Adam Aaren on the keys. This 4 PIECE brass section will be one of the most awesome and original line ups to hit Brighton this year. Those of you regular to the Circus big top will already be familiar with Mr Leroy Horns on the sax... now multiply that genius by 4 and you'll see why we're excited!

It's an intergalatic Breaks Odyssey, so optional attire: dress for Outer Space!

Treats on the night include:

FREE CD GIVEAWAY
PRIZES FOR THE BEST DRESSED GUY N' GAL

Price on door just £5

Line up...

LIVE MUSICIANS!
THE SHOFAR HORNS - LIVE 4 PIECE BRASS SECTION
Leroy Horns - tenor sax
Dutch Courage - Alto Sax
Ahmed Dayes - Trombone
Joey the Lips - Trumpet
&
Adam 'A' Double Aaron (Keys)

Big bad breaks, Tech/Electro provided by DJs

If so.....it can double up as one of those carnival funerals where from out of the somber procession.....trumpets,sax's and trumbones come flying from the pockets and everyone has a big ol' carnival party!

Yes Faith our designer Kate Chesterton is stupidly brilliant! every flyer beats the last!

Add ya Buds quick cos this party is going to be very very very FUN! as always.

you'll be moist from the visual presence just as much as the eargasm your gonna have from the DJs/Brass band combo!!!

I was speaking to Alex (Covert) last week and it's basically due to no one really buying records anymore....

It's a real shame, I've been continuing to buy records throughout the 'digital revolution' but the reality now is that there are going to be less and less shops selling vinyl and less choice too. There are loads of labels which are only realeasing tracks for download now so we're all basically missing out.

However, the alternative is to use programmes such as Final Scratch of Serato (Serato being the better version from the research I have done. This allows you to use 2 pieces of vinyl (or 2 cds) with all your tunes on a lap top.....genious! I'll be getting a copy of Serato very soon, its the only way forward....
