Dan its been a Disco/Club ever since i can remember, and its always been a struggle.....its too bloody small!

Look at the Richmond or Pressure point as it is now and The Volks Tavern, their clever to book promoters and their events that pull their weight and very often their amazing and proper underground haunts.

I don't know if their new decor will put of undergrounders though.

Quality music ,Friendly people,frequency of events ....think that might do it

well, the music aint the problem with some of the hottest new talanet around playing at the church with the funky house and electro house upstairs, and r'nb right thro to breaks and alternative downstairs,

the frequency of events has improved alot now, lavish 100% open friday and saturday night 10pm-5am no matter what, and we've just started opening tuesday,wed,thursday nights aswell!

i know straight who people associate with the building but that should no way influence ya, the guys running the place now are sounds as a nut, great bar staff, doorman, and djs... and we dont let any old riff raff through the door, so you can enjoy ya drinks and have a boogie without chavs and dickheads ruining ya night!!!

as ive said above its guna take time to change people opinions on the place, but were trying to do it slowly and steadily, we're still under going referblishment works, with all new plasma screens, new layout, everythink brand new....new lounge areas with fully furnished leather sofas....its getting there

but its going to take your work to (the punters) so come down one friday or saturday night, tell ya mates to come along too, brings as many mates as ya like.... give it ago, just one night, and if ya dont like it then ya dont have to come back...uve got nothing to loose ITS FREE ENTRY AND VERY CHEAP DRINKS so if its not to ya taste then u aint wasted money...

but please just give it ago once, like i said if ya dont like it then ya dont have to come back, but free entry all night everynight and cheap drinks, its atleast worth a go?!!

". - This may have been more convincing if you, the promoter, had been bothered to type properly rather than being lazy or trying to appear "down with the kid".

I have a feeling the choice of music may be a little misguided and am wondering if this kind of venue is going to attract that type of person. I think the underground scene could have made this place much more successful given it's previously terrible reputation and position within the city. People who want funky house, electro house, and r'nb are more likely to take a mindless walk down West Street or choose the Honey Club or Ocean Rooms. and "right thro to breaks and alternative downstairs" in that little space does not bode well for maximum popularity. Although I can understand the idea of trying to cater to the widest audience possible, it might be risky.

Maybe i'll see you there as "ITS SOMEWHERE [I] CAN COME AFTER A HEAVY NIGHT OUT". Although I must add, I find it offensive and chavvy when clubs have a 'ladies come in free policy' as I recently read on a flyer..

All the same I hope the free entry and cheap drinks help this clubs new attempt to pull through.

It wasn't ment to be a personal assault on how you talk (although 'love' is pretty offensive). It's just annoying when people can't be bothered to type properly, especially when it's concerning business..

That's probably for the best that you're not anything to do with it as it may be a failing project, unless the owners decide to do something radical.

You were told what to write, so none of that was your own initiative? good stuff!
