Funkagenda is a name that is fast becoming buzz word in the world of house music... After a series of blistering remixes and his own storming "EP 1" things are looking up for the Black Country boy who once fronted a soft rock band! Turned onto the charms of dance music when he first heard the legendary "Voodoo Ray", he locked himself away in his home studio and began to learn the trade.

Now, whether he's making your butt shake to slick stomping funk such as his own "Dancin' "or whether he is twisting it up electro style with his now infamous bootleg of Crystal Waters "Gypsy Woman", the most important aspect of his sets, and indeed his music, is QUALITY. Then again, for somebody who was a studio hand at the age of 17, and a fully fledged engineer by the age of 19, there is very little that can get passed these finely honed ears! Now in his mid 20's, in his role as Groovedigital's in-house engineer and A+R Manager, he makes sure that nothing leaves the studio without the Funkagenda seal of approval. And this attention to detail has not gone unnoticed…

DJs + Producers from all across the house world have been flocking to his studio for that ‘Funk Farm’ sound. His list of engineering clients reads like a who’s who in house music, with artists such as Trophy Twins, Mark Knight, ATFC, DJ Exacta and Punkrok all queuing up to create dancefloor killers.

He started off 2005 with a record 10 weeks of non-stop play on various Radio 1 shows, including Pete Tong, Judge Jules + Fergie, and he made his own radio debut with a Nu-Breed mix on Riley + Durrant’s cross network Galaxy 105 show. His 2nd label ‘Global Recordings’ launches this summer with the massive ‘Anarchism’ from Trophy Twins, and his ‘Jackology RMX’ has been tearing up clubs as far flung as NYC!
