After a short wait outside in the beautiful English weather (lol)I was feeling a little damp and chilly.As i got to the front of the que,i was greeted with a warm smile from Hardsouth promoter Nik,and swiftly made my way inside.
I walked into a beautifully decorated main arena,and,most importantly,a wall of thumping beats!A short que to get me coat and bag unloaded in the cloak room,where the staff were happy and friendly,then off for a wander round!
Immediately i began to recognize familiar faces,and began to feel at home!
Got on the floor and started to throw some shapes to the beats Tim Shaw was pumping out,and really began to appreciate not only the volume,but the clarity of the sound system!
As the night progressed,birthday boy krunchie tool to the decks and boy could you tell he was enjoying it!Had my arms and legs flailing all over the shop,and it wasn't long till i had to take a breather in the smoking area!
After some random conversations with friends old and new it was back too the floor to catch Mr Maddox!Although a more down tempo than i'm accustomed to,he p[layed some absolutley blinding tracks,including one of my 'tunes i play most days to cheer me up' mesmorised,and he's wicked re-mix of JX's you belong to me!(Which i purchased as soon as i'd recovered!)
Then Nik Denton began he's onslaught!Things got harder,the tempo went up a notch,and my trips to the smoking area to cool off and grab air became more frequent as my body tried to deal with all the fun!!!
Didn't catch much of resident DJ Twisted,as i was outside on flyer duties,but i was still bouncing around to the beats to keep warm!

Massive thanks to all the staff at the honey club,who were always happy and polite,and particularly the security,who were excellent!

Big hi to all the people i met,and i look forward to seeing you all again very soon!!!!
