I just wanted to write a short review before someone does a much better job than me to express how in awe I am of everyone who helped make Sunday the most incredible overwhelming success that it was, and one of the best things I feel I have ever been a part of.

So far the Beat Circus with the Strawberry Social has raised £4000 for ICR - £5000 builds an entire new school in Africa, and we are still getting offers of donations post event so we have every confidence we'll smash this target. When we first thought this little baby up we dreamed we might possibly raise £1000. This is truly amazing.

We had sold out by 4pm.... some cheeky punters even tried to climb in through the window of the King and Queen to get into the buzzing festival that was going on inside!

The King and Queen normally makes £2000 behind the bar on a Sunday when the footy is on... we brought in £14,000!!!!

So thank you thank you thank you! The Wizard & the Frog (sexxxy wrestling!) Django Spears (dresses never looked so good on a boy) The Don Bradmans & Los Albertos for doing their energetic ska madness so well....all the courtyard musicians - you were magic.

Brap fm for providing an awesome dirty tech/electro room for all the wronguns, our Beat Circus residents for smashing their set with Armard on the trombone & Dutch Courage on the sax, Plasa de Funk, Steelzawheelz....and Soul of Man (who began his set with A-Skillz Strawberry fields mix- ah perfect!) you are all legends.

VJ Spank, VJ air...all our sexy strawberry girles....everyone who helped on the door.... you have all done something unique and special Brighton has not seen in a long time.

congrats to you all, what a brilliant time i had - well worth the trip over from portugal! you guys did a great job, and it was good to see you all again. i look forward to my next trip over, which for sure will coincide with a beat circus event!
