Junkbox is 1!!! (i know theres only 9 but can't find the rest)

G'day

On the Horizon is the biggest Junkbox party yet, OUR BIRTHDAY! 12 months ago Junkbox was born in a somewhat un-visited club called Union. Union is now long gone and the Zap is now back in full force and Junkbox is lucky enough to be one of the heavy hitters in it's arsenal.

To celebrate we have probably our biggest guest to date, all the way from the US and A, CLAUDE VON STROKE. Since 'Deep Throat' he's been one of those producers with the midas touch. Responsible for one of the biggest tunes in Ibiza this summer, 'Who's Afraid Of Detroit', (click here to hear it) you know when a tunes is big when in Richie Hawtin's still playing it in DC10 of all places 4 months after it's release. Claude normally plays at Fabric when he's over, we luckily enough to have his Brighton debut with us.

Supporting the American we have JAMIE WADMAN & TIM PRIESTLEY, our Bi Monthly residents (thats once every 2 months; neither are actually bi as far as I know) and ourselves DE PUTA MADRE. Smashing up the arch we have the two guys who do it best, VINCE FRIMPONG & YUSUF SEBAITI.

As it's the birthday we thought it was appropriate to give something back to the people who make the parties what they are, our regulars, so we're giving away free membership mini-cards/keyrings for you to to keep and cherish! I saw these things in ibiza and realised we got to have them.

Not only do they look wicked but they are really useful too! For an example of their use Lara was in a bit of a pickle trying to get one of her earrings out a small bag until she used her mini-card and solved the problem forthwith! See below:

These will be given out free on the evening by the Junkbox girls. They will get you into all Junkbox and De Puta Madre events for reduced entry and allow you to jump the queue!

The after party will as always be next door at the Funky Buddha where things won't stop till daylight and then some. Post your names HERE for guest list before 11.30. See y'all there...
