In March, nuskoolbreaks.co.uk amazed the breaks community with their massive London Breaks Allnighter event, three rooms of breaks with a wall-to-wall star lineup. Now they make a return, this time heading South to bring their own brand of breaks malarkey to Brighton!
This time, we've teamed up with local promoters and all round party-animals, Zero Culture, for the biggest breakbeat party the South Coast has ever seen - the Brighton Breaks Allnighter!
Following on from our London party, we once again have an amazing lineup for you to indulge in!
Headlining the event is the multi-talented DJ / Producers that are UTAH SAINTS. These guys are something to be seen and heard, fusing the scratching of DJ Craze, the block rocking beats of Plump DJs, and the party-we'll-play-anything-vibe of 2ManyDJs. They've only played Brighton once before and when they did they absolutely smashed the dancefloor to pieces!!
Winners of the Shortest DJs in Breaks Award at Breakspoll last year (we kid we kid!) THE BREAKFASTAZ drop by to play some beats and give us a sample of the new stuff from their forthcoming debut artist album. Voted (seriously this time) as one of the Worlds Top 5 DJs at Breakspoll this year, the Breakfastaz fit time in their busy schedule to make a rare visit to the South Coast, so expect some seriously good tunes!
The man that likes to shake dem booty DEEKLINE comes back to Brighton, this time bringing new label signing IVORY with him. Deekline has been about a bit, with appearences on Top of the Pops, a German Number 1 track, and a Worldwide tour, meaning that his stage show is finely honed. Ivory will be down celebrating the release of their new single Wolf on May 23rd, and these guys do an amazing live show full of energy, so make sure you catch it!
Fresh from rocking the spot at the London Breaks Allnighter - DARFT PHUNK travel with us to Brighton to do their classic live set. If you haven't seen these guys live your missing out - 2 DJs, live Saxophonist, live Guitarist, 2 vocalists and a Beatboxer - all combined over some fresh funky tracks. This is Darft Phunks Brighton debut, so give them a warm reception!
Brightons newest Celebrity resident STEELZAWHEELZ will also be on hand to funk things up a little. The West Records main man narrowly missed out on winning Best Breakthrough DJ at Breakspoll this year, but nevertheless, he will be doing his best for us at the Allnighter. Get ready to mince.
Lastly, but by no means least, is the local crew of KONSPIRACY and MEDTRONIX who a lot of Brighton peeps will know from Checkout, Pressure Point and Slackers Convention. These guys know how to play and how to dish out the treats for the Brighton crowd!
