Music : Jackin House, Electro House, Dirty House, Tech House, Tribal House, Acid House, Breaks and Funky Techno
We're now into our fourth event, and on a roll, even if I say so myself. With a more than healthy mix of underground house, twisted breaks,ass-shaking techno and just a piece of filthy electro to finish it off. Always underground and cutting edge but always aimmed at one place, the dance floor.
With us this month we have a full resident line-up plus some very special guests, who have made quite a name for themselves in Bristol these past couple of years.
But first up the nu-disc residents, Brundlegoat ,aka B-goat, is back after his amazing set in March. Great breaks, twisted electro and the finest techno. This man has to be wittnessed. Trust me the words I've used to describe his style doesn't do it justice, he is very unique!
Next up,Trademark, another fav with the nu-disc locals. His uncomprimising breakbeat antics and in your face mixing ability goes down a storm.
He plays the full spectrum of breaks and does it in his Tademark way! ( ha ha I thought of that one myself ).
I feel very fortunate to have two great residents who the crowd loves, and who fully embraces the ideals of nu-disc. I always look forward to these guys playing.
Then there's myself, Scott Summers, playing tech-funk, which touches house, electro, techno and of course, breaks. I like to think I throb!! but maybe you should come along and give me you're opinion.
Then our special guests on the night are FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ, like I said they have made quite a name for themselves in Bristol, playing some of the biggest parties like PLAY and LOCO.
These 3 guys, Ed and Charlie Curtin and James Davis have 8 years experience dj'ing each, and are tipped for the top by many a promoter,dj and crowd.
( remember where you saw them first, that is if you haven't seen them before ! )
They play melodic breaks and electronic beats with hints and nodds to prog, techno, electro and acid.
They are in the studio right now recording some tunes. You can listen to them on this site if you look them up, and it's well worth it ,believe.
I can hear you say, " nu-disc line-ups keep on getting stronger and stronger " ,
yes i know, and I agree.
This month expect some dirty electro with splashes of breaks with a seasoning of techno, and of course the smell of funk!
