FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ, WORD! by Scott Summers
FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ, WORD!

What happens when you get over-paid, arrogant, under-lived people in government? The answer?
A mess.
What happens when you get under-paid, humble, 'over-lived' djs in one nightclub? The answer?
A mess, but quite a different mess!!

Nu-disc's forth night was by far musically the best yet. I have to tip my hat to all the faithfull who keeps coming back, and those who did on this night walked away with the biggest smiles to date.

We had a full resident line-up, which I still believe is one of the strongest in talent in the south-west.
Brundlegoat playing jacked up techy house beats with warped electro breaks and basically wierd shit. It's like Dave Clarke, Switch and Meat Katie all together, and he plays it perfectly.
Then Trademark, this mans middle name is 'uncomprimising and in your face'. He plays the best breaks around and loves it. The nu-disc faithful love him also.
Then myself Scott Summers. What can I say about me, jacking, techy, sometimes deep and housey, and all finished off with some breaks.
Think 20:20, James Talk, Switch, Paul Woolford and Lee Coombs.

One of my highlights was my last tune, which is made by an old college class mate of mine, a certain Mr Luke Dzierzek, ' One day' , on Silver Planet.
Its great to see a tune rock the floor when you play it, especially when its made by a nice, down to earth, hard working, talented guy.

Then last but by no means least, we had our special guests, or should I say very special guests.
FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ.
If you ever wonder why people go on about these guys so much, maybe you should check them out, because trust me, these guys rock.
They didn't only bring their tunes and themselves, they brought a vibe, which is highly infectious.
They come in with their crew and their smiles and immediately it lifts the whole room, and they hadn't even started playing yet!
These guys love dj'ing and the music they play, they abuse the effects on the mixer which drives the crowd crazy. These guys are true masters of their art, and I can't wait to get them again.
When 95% of people are dancing, clapping and cheering, their not wrong.
I told Luke Dzierzek in college if he continued like he was then one day he will be a main player, so I like to think I can spot good attitudes and good talent, and I predict big things for FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ.
Good Attitudes and talent gets you far, and these guys have both. I'm still on a high remembering there up-front electro, acidy beats and proggy moments, go and see them and you won't be disappointed.

I would like to thank the nu-disc faithful and everyone at BS23 for their support and hard work, plus my amazing residents Trademark and Brundlegoat.
Plus a huge shout out to the FUCHA ELEKTRONIKZ.

Until next time people, WORD!
