Laid Blak [Brown Punk]
Urban reggae heavyweights now signed to new label set up by Tricky and Island records founder Chris Blackwell. These guys been packing out venues all round the south west for time now. Expect big tings and get ready to 'get down lo!'

Vizion Feat. Nicole Jackson Vizion is not the same; his vocals combine reggae, dancehall and hip hop into a style that is uniquely his whilst his lyrics reveal a complex character behind the voice. In January 2007, the young artist was instantly acclaimed as his debut single “Girl I Need You” caught the attention of the public, and held it, with regular airplay on Barbadian airwaves.

Since the release of “Girl I Need You”, Vizion has performed in Barbados, Trinidad and England with many of the industry’s top reggae artists. These include Sizzla, Beres Hammond, Steel Pulse, Pressure, Richie Spice, Capleton, Baby Cham, Jah Cure, Capleton and Buju Banton. He has also performed at shows with UK hip-hop artist Tynchy Strider and a host of Barbadian artists including reggae veteran David Kirton. Vizion’s most significant shows to date were “Reggae on the Hill ’07 & ‘08” and “Reggae on the ‘08” which had audiences of over 15,000 people.

Following the making of the internationally broadcast music video for “Girl I Need You” and the release of songs such as “What They Say” and “Business as Usual”, Vizion was recognized in his home country when he became a 3-time nominee for “Best Reggae Artist”, “Best New Artist” and “Best Reggae Single” at the 2007-08 Barbados Music Awards.
