With the Kinkymalinki Resident 'Grant Richards' fresh from El Divino in IBIZA you know this is going to be one unmissable party! Grant Richards has been DJing since 1997 and has been collecting vinyl since he can remember, growing up on big slices of original Motown funk and soul. 1999 became a pivotal year for Grant, with many small doors being opened up for the journey up the metaphorical DJ ladder. As one thing led to the next GR soon found himself ensconced in the world of DJing, Promoting and Producing and Presenting and to this day manages to juggle all of that in one way or another... Grant has unfathomable enthusiasm and professionalism and when not DJing will be found shaking one pair or another of his many coveted pairs of Nike sneakers on the dancefloors of London and further afield and will always be a DJ who will try to break boundaries in creating his own inimitable style whether it be in person or behind the decks and whether that would be in the club or riding the airwaves on London's leading house music station House FM. The past few years have seen Grant break through the DJ market so to speak. In 2005 he was nominated for best break-through DJ at the House Music Awards. His work for Kinky Malinki from the very early days of it have been one of the reason's Kinky Malinki is where it is today. Grant was toured pretty much every corner of globe either working under various brands (including Kinky Malinki, Formula, Housology, Hustle & Garage City to name but a few) or as an individual. Grant has also DJ'ed at Gary Beadle's (Paul from Eastenders) Wedding, and his show on House Fm was highlighted as 'one to watch' in DJ Mag. His achievements speak for themselves... Grant is certainly a face for the future... and a face for now!!! Supporting Grant on this musical Journey will be local boys and ‘Mi Casa’s’ very own purveyors of quality house music, Craig Brown and Tom Bruton.
