Ravers are Alive and Kicking if you didnt go wtf
on 12th of december 2008 the mighty lakota opened its doors for ravers are alive and kicking, now im more about my hardcore than anything else but the lineups in room 2 + 3 were pretty good especially joey riot vs gammer.
The first set of the night was Adam Harris (if you dont know who he is you might of heard him on weekender 4 with MC Static) His Set contained remixes of darren style's tracks including I want you for the rest of my life and Party People, near the end of the set MC Fugitive grabbed the mic and rocked up to the end of him and DJ Seduction.
After Seduction finished his set The Welsh No1 MC Wotsee and DJ Brisk rocked lakota with tracks such as the tetris tune lol, MC Age-o joined wotsee in a b2b which was amazing. the next set was a b2b set which included Marc Smith and Kevin Energy which was one of the best sets of the night with MC Trigger and MC Obie.
The Next set were Supporting Raverbaby (Can u guess lol) Thats right Recon and Squad-e with Mc Static, this set included tracks like Tricky Disco, Disco Lights, Gods Child etc
The Next 2 Djs and MC were from my favorite label LETHAL THEORY Thats Right Joey Riot and Kurt and MC Enemy. at the end wotsee grabbed the mic and did a phat freestyling lyric to some gabba and nailed it.
After this set Joey Riot went around the arenas with a Camera man and started interviewing ravers i managed to talked to joey riot and he asked me what the cicumferance of the earth and didint have a clue (Obviously).
The next set was supposed to be Gammer and Whizzkid but whizzkid didnt turn up so MC's Wotsee and Enemy stepped up to the mic and rocked the stage.
Next was another b2b which included Wales no 1 dj Pikey and The Southwest's no1 weston local dj Bishop which on literally every track he laid on an amazing scratch.
The final set of the night was the Scratchmaster sy with mc wotsee which was amazing with tracks such as Keep the Crowd Jumping and making me wanna dance.
If you didnt attend this rave then unlucky peeps coz u missed a phat nite

Yeah Kev is wkd and in my eyes one of most underated Djs out there.. I no people say that about alot of Djs but pikey is not booked no where near enough for events.. Shame really when u think the likes of styles n that get booked lol

Maybe lots more Pikey B2B Bishop sets :D
