NATIVE CLOSING PARTY!

Hello people :)

Some of you may or may not know that Native is closing at the end of the July.

Byte has been at Native for nearly 3 years and we've stayed there this long because we love the venue, and equally importantly the lovely staff who have been amazing supporters of what we do.

We want to say a big big thank you to Ben & Dave as well as Ben Daley, Ric, Dre and all the Native staff for making us always feel like family and being the best at what they do!

Native has been home to some of the best nights in Bristol - Run, Dubloaded, Western Soul, The Blast and many more, and it's absence will mean a huge loss to Bristol clubbing and the local music scene in general.

We wish all the staff the very best in their future endeavours, its been a great time working with you all!

So a big fat :lighter: to the loss of a fantastic venue and a big :twothumbs: to all those who came and raved there at any time over the past few years.

For the closing party, Byte is joining forces with Ruffnek Diskotek to bring you a sizzling summer smash-up of the finest quality to get you in a sweat one final time at one of Bristol's best venues.

First up we welcome back one of our very favourite double trouble tag teams ROSSI B & LUCA. These boys are scene veterans who know a thing or two about demolishing dances. They rinsed it hard last year for us, and so we had to get them back to do it all again. Expect the most upfront dubs mixed with stone-cold classics for a party-starting set like no other!

We also welcome back one of Bristol's brightest hopes, GEMMY. Since he last played for Byte (2007!), he has gone from strength to strength as both a producer and a DJ. Having released some of the most progressive electronic music on labels like Punch Drunk and Planet Mu recently, Gemmy is poised for global domination. Anybody who witnessed his show-stopping set at Rewind! recently will know Gemmy means business when he steps up to the plate. Do not miss!

Also on board we have Steakhouse bashmenteers MONKEYSTEAK ready and waiting to get your booty shaking to some serious sub-bass! We've been wanting to get these guys to play for a long time and when they've melted your creps with their sonic freak rays you'll know why.

Dropping science on proceedings we have the Ruffnek Diskotek crew DUB BOY, BROTHER WETLANDS & STAR DELTA alongside the one and only BEN DALEY with an old skool jungle and rave classics set!

Once again, we are going right through to the break of dawn until 6am - this is your last chance for a last dance at Native, so come and say farewell to a Bristol institution!
