Over the past few years, I’ve had some memorable nights out and more recently, some nights I have absolutely no recollection of whatsoever! I’m sure this rings true for a few of us, but with me, only some of these have been as a result of an excessive amount of alcohol!

Its takes a special event for me to distinguish between particular nights (at a guess I have promoted over 700 events in the past 4 years) but one date I will definitely remember is the night when INDY 500 decided to play all of their Classic tracks at Po Na Na!

I felt the excitement building for this one from a couple of weeks back. When everything comes together as a promoter, there is no feeling quite like it and when I initially met with Dan and Amos to start planning this night, I knew this one would be a massive success.

Po Na Na has a capacity of 200. On Saturday night we could have filled the venue 3 times over!

I had a great night with many great memories and thoughts of (TUUUNE!) Professional Widow, Yeke Yeke and Insomnia all stick out in my mind! Judging by the response, you all had a cracking night as well!

I genuinely can’t wait for Deepgroove’s take on the classics night, dropping their inspirations on April 1st! I’m pretty sure it’s going to be more of the same, as I’ve got that feeling again!

Incidentally, April 1st will also be my last night at Po Na Na. It'd be great to see you all there if not just to make it one last memorable night!
