The Bank is an independent locally owned traditional style pub with a twist, set in the heart of Bristol city centre. Now under the new ownership of local legend Mr Jonny 'The Sack' Ball, the venue has undergone an extensive refit & refurbishment, whilst retaining its original features. Throught the daytimes, 7 days a week, an extensive lunchtime and early evening menu will be available at more than reasonable prices, with comfortable setaing both inside and out. Perfect for a working lunch or after work snack!! In the evenings, the venue could be described as the perfect meeting place with live DJ's playing a mix of soulful, deep & jacking house at weekends to warm you up for your planned late night destination. The relatively low capacity serves to create an intimate & friendly atmosphere, meaning it is the ideal to meet up with your friends without the hassle experienced in some city centre venues. However, perhaps most appealing is the drinks prices which are equivalent to that of a rural pub, just in an urban location. It means that you won't kick in half your budget before the nights even begun. Well, not unless you want to that is!!!! Come try it out people. This is a traditional pub with a twist, run by good local people. Give it your support as it's just what a city saturated by pretty awful bars, like Bristol, needs....!
