That's right people... you heard it right... On Saturday 31st May, Bristol's longest running & best loved monthly boat party returns for its 6th season of seabound shannanigans aboard the good ship Tower Belle... Long regarded as the unofficial start of the Summer social calendar, The Funk Boat will once again be embarking upon five fantastic floating parties from May through September... Falling on the last Saturday of each & every month, The Funk Boat is the official warm up event for Prominence at The Warehouse, and all Funk Boat attendees will gain reduced price entry to the main event itself... Those who have attended these stirling parties before will know that they truly are some of the best around... but for those of you who are yet to experience them, you can expect quite literally a boat load of nautical naughtiness as you & up to 100 clued-up clubbers make your way throughout the beautiful waterways of Bristol & Bath... Setting sail at 7pm sharp, on board entertainment comes courtesy of residents Luke Langson, Alex Clark & Will Bailey who will be laying down the same kind absorbing soundtrack that has kept people coming back for the last six years... Sunshine grooves & al-fresco funk fuelled house make this the perfect way to start what promises to be a perfect night out... Each month, guests will convene at The Red Room (formerly E-Shed) on Bristol Watershed between 6 & 6.30pm, before being collected from the jetty directly outside... At the end of the evening, all guests will be returned to this same point, which is within 5 minutes walk of the official after party, Prominence at The Warehouse...
