The blessed & the damned together are formally invited to join in the festivities on this night of celebration as we bid a final farewell to 2007 and welcome in the new year in extravagance & style.
Fancy dress for this event is optional, but we would encourage all to join in the fun and come in costume. The theme is of course Heaven & Hell, which presents countless ideas for what you could come as...
Winged Angels... Horned Devils... Demons... Cherubs... Vicars... Nuns... the options are endless!
On this unique occassion, the venue will be transformed into a celestial playground for both the saints & the sinners amongst us, complete with full decor and additional sound system...
Downstairs, the bar will represent the burning depths of hell; it's scorched brimstone walls aligned with a host of decadent demons & horny little devils, all of whom have been banished to face a life of torment for the rest of eternity...
Upstairs, the club will be glorified in light and the hallowed halls of heaven recreated on earth... beautiful angels will dance amongst the ivory columns as playful cherubsl float between the clouds to the sacred sound of house...
An orchestra of Bristol’s finest DJ’s line up across the 2 levels to provide an angelic soundtrack made up of the best in funk-fuelled house & electro from this past year & beyond...
Guests will be tormented by the choice of displaying purity personified or exploring their darkest desires as We Funk residents Shaun Para & Leon Henry deliver the best in soulful & funky house downstairs in the bar, whilst Prominence residents Luke Langson & Alex Clark are joined by Tom Bruton, Clinton Brown and Tom & Rich Brown for a night featuring nothing but best in house, tech & electro from the last year upstairs in the club.
Proceedings get underway at 8pm in the firey depths of hell, before the golden elevators start up and the pearly gates of heaven open at 10pm. Will you have done enough to make it through to Heaven, or will you be banished back to Hell?!?!
Advance tickets for what is set to be Bristol's biggest New years party are priced at just £10 and are available from the Slug Bar from Monday 10th December. Please note that subject to availability, tickets will be available on the door on the night, but will however be priced at £15 so we recommend you buy in advance, and book early to avoid disappointment.

Kicking off at 4am, and running through until 9am, Bristol's best loved after hours gives you all the perfect reason NOT to go home as we deliver yet another session of spine tingling, heart racing, feet stomping, ass shaking, arm waiving, hip wiggling, mind bending, head f*@king casualty clubbing set in the gorgeous surrounds of one of Bristol's favorite venues.
