Who decided to do this on a Sunday? Definately not someone who had to go to work the next day!!!!! Despite this the newly refurbished Thelka Social was rammed to see Bristol's finest in fuill effect.
When we arrived D Product was on the decks and started proceedings with a real dancefloor selection which got the crowd bubbling along nicley. At this point I would mention a bunch of the tunes he played but i was too mashed to remember any the day afterwards.

Krust was up next with a full 5 piece band to add something a bit different to proceedings. He started off with a live version of 'follow the vision' and continued to showcase material from his latest album. The highlight of the show for me was a live version of Krusts's mid-nineties V classic 'Maintain'.

After the live show everyone was ready for some rollin d'n'b which was expertly provided by Clipz & Die b2b with MC Rage. Ben Westbeech also joined them on stage for a live performance of a couple of their recent collaborations - 'Number 1' and 'Get close'. This proved the highlight of the night.
To finish Roni Size and Dynamite took the stage, briefly joined by a cameo performance by Jakes spitting live over TC's 'Deep'.Now Roni Size is without doubt one of the greatest producers to grace the drum and bass scene and a true dance music pioneer, however i must say i am not a massive fan of his mixing style, with his constant cutting and scratching the set was too 'stop-start' and never got going despite him drawing some really good tunes.

it was shit. roni sizes head is too big,hes a complete idiot! he to tried to boost his ego by doin 'scratchin' of some description and startin and stoppin all the time! no lie, he didnt play a tune 4 the 1st 10 mins! meanwhile im stood in a very packed out club with loads of now pissy ppl on a major come down off my gurners! what a prick!
