2007 was an amazing year for Deadset as both the singles and the album “Keys Open Doors” received rave reviews from the press , DJ’s and house music lovers the world over. DJ’s such as Jesse Rose, Luciano, Ricardo Vilalobos, Andrew Weatherall and Claude VonStroke have been playing their tracks everywhere to great effect.



The duo formally known as Cass and Mangan have previously remixed the likes of Muse, Miss Kittin, Röyksopp, Tiefschwarz, Justin Timberlake, Scissor Sisters. They have had releases on labels such as Fine, Blu Fin, Souvenir, Made To Play, Wall Of Sound and Tsuba.

Deadset have played gigs at Weekend, Watergate and Panoramabar in Berlin as well as The Key, The End and Fabric in London to name a few. Recently they have been performing live shows that showcase the tracks from the album “Keys Open Doors”. Deadset are also a very accomplished DJ duo and have recently completed a very well recieved Pod Cast for the Resident Advisor website (download above).



Not only did IDJ make “Keys Open Doors” album of the month in the October edition they have also featured it in the Top 25 albums of 2007. Here’s what IDJ and some of the other press say :
