On Saturday 27th September, Prominence are overwhelmed to announce the eagerly anticipated return of one of house music's most consistent & influential producers of the last 15 years...

MICHAEL GRAY (Full Intention/Eye Industries).

Whether it has been as a solo artist, or together with friend Jon Pearn (Bodyrox) as part of the hugely successful production & remix duo FULL INTENTION... or indeed as any one of the many other guises they work under including Miami Ice, The Journey Man DJ, Robot Man or Sex-O-Sonique, Michael's work has always received global acclaim & recognition from the world's biggest artists... including David Morales, Pete Tong & Joey Negro.

After many succesful years working with Jon under many monikers, a partnership that spawned countelss huge productions and grammy award nominated remixes over the course of a decade, the pair decided to spend some time working on other projects...

Jon of course went on to achieve major crossover success with Nick Bridges as Bodyrox... Michael meanwhile concentrated on a solo career, using material he had collated over the many years spent in the Studio working on new ideas....

In 2004, Michael's first solo release "The Weekend" instantly became an underground club hit, before crossing over to become a worldwide chart phonomenon, hitting dance & download chart no.1 spots in numerous countries, as well as many national chart top 10's, including that of the UK.

Michael followed this up in early 2006 with the release of "Borderline", which again received cross-over success following massive support from influential radio figures such as Pete Tong, Sara Cox & Steve Smart...

Michael solo success has seen the astronomical growth of his own label 'Eye Industries', and a string of solid releases such as 'Splttr - All Alone', 'Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah' and 'Superfly - Lets Get Down' has served to place the label amongst the Uk's elite.

2007 proved yet another big year for Michael with his next release, the beautiful single 'Somewhere Beyond' smashing clubs, festivals and radio waves all over the world. Furthermore, 'R U Ready For This', released under his guise 'The Robot Man' became one of the underground records of the year and is only now receiving it's full release having constantly destroyed dancefloors forthe last 16 months...

Michael returns to Prominence riding on the waive of yet more success in 2008 following the release of Shelly's as The Journeyman DJ, and his latest hugely anticipated reworking of Danism's 'Strike' just about to drop..

We once again feel privileged to get the chance to once again present a true house music legend as Michael joins us for only his second ever Bristol performance...

Joining Michael for this very special night will be Prominence residents Alex Clark & Luke Langson, whilst upstairs plays host to another We Funk v's Mi Casa showdown courtesy of Shauny P, Leon Henry, Tom Bruton & Craig Brown, gauranteeing a soundtrack jam packed full of the best house music has to offer!!

The night will be preceeded by ultimate pre-party, as The Funk Boat bids fairwell to the Summer with the final party of the year... Furthermore, it will be followed by a very intimate after-hours as Twisted after hours returns to Po Na Na for its first event in 3 months, kicking off at 3.30am & running through until the sun is well & truly up!!
