T'was the night before Christmas...
Yes people, it's that time of year once again when we deck the halls of Bristol's favourite underground club and indulge ourselves in sackfulls of festive fancy dress fun at our annual Christmas knees-up!!!
On this night, Timbuk2 will be transformed into a giant snow covered Winter-Wonderland complete with Christmas trees, decorations & even a full size Santa's Grotto, as hordes of costumed clubbers climb down the EQ chimney for this, our last party of 2007...!!!!
Those who attended last year's event will know what an magical night it was, and this year's party is set to be even more incredible with no less than 19 DJ's on show across 2 rooms of musical merriness!!
Room 1 will be in the control of Electroquisite residents Will Bailey, Luke Langson, Alex Clark, Clinton Brown, Nathan Thomson, Andy Kelly, Rich Brown, Tom Brown, Dave Carter & Tom Bruton.... and as with all EQ's, you can expect nothing less than the best house, electro & techno Mrs Clause can muster!
Room 2 will feature a local showcase of established and up & coming talent, including Dilshan Rukanayake, Shaun Para, Jon Davis, Little Jo, Craig Brown & Leon Henry, Yannis Pavlou, Lisa Preen & Kevin Richards, most of whom will be making their nightclub debuts!
The event will kick off at 10.30pm and run through until 05.30am... and we come bearing gifts!!!
As a special thank you for all the support you've given in making this a memorable year, entry to this event is a mere £5 before midnight, and just £7 after... NUS are just £5 all night... and the same goes for anyone who makes the effort to come in fancy dress... (which we hope will be most of you!!)
FANCY DRESS IS OPTIONAL PEOPLE... That said, we'd like to encourage all of you to get in the sprit of the season, get down your local fancy dress store, Woolworth's or wherever else is firing out cheap Santa suits, and tog yourself up in the best Xmas outfit you can find!!!
It doesn't matter what you come as, or what you look like... it's a laugh... a bit of fun.. nothing more...
Last year we had giant reindeers, Christmas fairies, a shed load of St Nicks, and even big JC himself... More of the same this year please!!!
