On Saturday 11th October, Electroquisite celebrates 3 incredible years of memorable parties with what is undoubtedly our biggest ever event...
During this time, we are proud to have showcased the Bristol debuts of some of the world's biggest DJ's, artists and producers, including first time performances by the the likes of Sebastien Leger, Dirty South, Laidback Luke, Rene Amesz and Chris Lake...
... but to mark the sheer magnitude of this very special occassion, we are now proud to formally announce a line up consisting of not 1, but 2 of house music's most prolific luminiaries and outstanding talents...
NIC FANCIULLI (Saved records/Skylark) - 3 hour set
plus...
ANDY CHATTERLEY (Saved Records/Edison/Skylark)
That's right... having pursued him non-stop for some 36 months, we are overwhelmed to have finally secured to services of one of the world's best DJ's in Nic Fanciulli for what will be his first solo performance in the city...
It's fair to say that other than in Maidstone, it's not likely you'll get another chance to see him perform in such intimate surroundings... and to make it all the more special, Nic will be performing one of his infamous 3 hour sets!!!
Joining Nic on the night is another of house music's most talented artists... Andy Chatterley. In recent years, not only has Andy has achieved incredible success as an engineer and key player for everyone from Paulo Mojo to Kanye West, but under his moniker of 'Edison' and as part of production duo 'The Droyds', Andy has stacked up countless credits against his name...
However, it is the pair's acclaimed work together as the hugely successful 'Skylark' and also as it's bastard son 'The Buick Project', that they have become most well known for...
Chart topping releases including "That's More Like It" and '"At The Rave"... Critically acclaimed remixes of tracks such as A-Studio's beautiful "SOS" and Soul Mekanik's "We Wanna Get Wet"... all of which smashed buzz charts & dancefloors across the globe, whilst helping establish the pair as 2 of the most sought after artists in the industry... a fact confounded by their 2007 Grammy Award nomination for the Buick Project remix of Tiefschwarz & Tracy Thorn's "It's All True"...
Joining Nic & Andy in the main arch will be Electroquisite residents Luke Langson & Clinton Brown, the latter of which has himself been making strides within the production world following much talked about releases such as 'Screamo', 'Traffic', and 'Kunty' amongst others, all of which have contributed to his being signed to none other than Cr2 Records...
In Room 2 we welcome back fantastic new talents Dan Masey (New City Sound) and James Lanceley (Arcadia) who are joined by EQ debutant Nick Farrant, formerly of the extremely successful DJ duo Deep Funktion, whilst in Room 3, beats & breaks come courtesy of the suplremely talented Schmidt, ensuring that there's musical variation to suit everybodies preference throughout.
