A Sparkly Psychedlic Extravaganza...
This was kindofa last minute affair when Kerry informed me that she'd brought 2 tickets. A bit concerned when I realised there was only 500 odd tickets, but there must have been 500 of the most nicest people ever there. The site did feel a bit empty at times, but it also made sure there was plenty of space to chill out, wander about aimlessly and run like looneys about the field and the tents and not worry about crashing into people!

Quite chilled on friday, though still managed to stay awake all night - my memory is a little sketchy, but I defianelty recall aliens and goblins, and plenty of UV and sparkles...

...and plenty of home made dandelion wine to lubricate the procedings.

Just such a shame the camera died when there were so many lovely people (ok... ...read pretty girls...) to spot.

Nice late morning reveille and after some tea and beans and pitta off for a nice wander about chatting to lots of wicked people, followed by a dip in the river to cool down. Must add at this point that it may have been an idea to warn the neighbors - the member of the local gentry walking the riverside with a shotgun slung over his arm seemed a little perturbed, but he had a smile on his face eventually when he seemed to realise we were mostly all harmless hippies...

Saturday night was crazy time... Nice chilli from the Time Gate crew (thanks for the aloe cutting) and then had a good run round with some Sheffield mates until they got a little bored of the music, (have to admit I was sadly dissapointed with Man with no Name) then finally ended up in the Fat Moon tent... Danced like a loon and then the dreaded Cat's Cradle came out... And proud to say that even in the bizarre state that such madness can only induce we managed every move!

I must apologise to all the poor poor people we accosted at 6am trying to insist on their doing unnatural things with bits of string, you all did very well... he he...

Nice wind down sunday and a spangled visit to the car boot sale, and a quick blast of proper Tekno on my mates car stereo before sadly heading back the the real world after one of the sweetest weekends for a very long time.

I guess it did do what it said on the tin - but the only other complaint would be that a little harder tunes would have hit the spot occasionally...
