First of all this is a forum for people who actually go to this great club and not for bitter people who have never stepped through the doors.
I remember growing up there was always an aura about Pantiles and when me and the lads made our first trek up there wondering whether we would even make it past the first obsticle the DOORMEN. Well we did make it and to be honest with you I am very happy for this.
Its taken its stick over the years and crowds have dwindled as more and more clubs and pubs have opened and late liscencing has come in but....... 40 years this July !!!!
How many other places have gone to pot around it.
JULY 14TH 2007 is the day that the curtain will finally come down on the legend of Pantiles as a nightclub. Christ my dad went there when he was young. Afew of my mates give me stick and call Pantiles my 2nd home and many of you know that we have tried to e create the glory days over the last 6 months and crowds were on the up again until recently. Well my 2nd home is now saying a final farewell and I hope alot of people come out of the wood work over the next 7 or 8 weeks to pay your respects to a place that has been unique in its class for a long long time now . And please remember when it is gone the will be nothing else like it ever again.
We have alot of things planned for the last couple of months leading up to the close inc once again taking our So? Boat Party Afterparty there on the penultimate week July 7th where the fun starts once again 6.30 pm in the evening sun. And a special return of the Ladies night where all the ladies get in free on Sat 30th June.
I call on all of you to write one last chapter in the book and show your faces on at least one Saturday night leading up to the Finale. And give the club the send off it absolutely fucking deserves.
And no nicking the Wagon Wheels .... I have first dibs on them

I will be there with bells on! Its so emotional, and although people never admit it, they'll always love pantiles! x

its been expected but still sad to hear the final Date, the clubs played such a big part in my whole djin career and iv got some seriously fond memories and good friends from it,

Brilliantly put Rambo: My Mum and her friends have been banging on about how good it was in their day!

My early experiences there inspired me to love dance music and ultimately DJ,

Good nights will never be about what a club looks like, but the atmosphere within and as a place that brought so many people together, it'll be a great loss to the area.

Hope to see many of you at the Citrus Summer Party in a couple of weeks before the grand finale!

Tis very sad...my aunt and uncle met there and it was the first place I ever went clubbing at 15 years old!

Seriously a sad night when it close's its doors so get there early as it is going to be a road block!!!

I knew I could rely on you to miss the whole point of this exersise, dont just go on the last nite when you wont be able to fucking move or probably even get in take some time out to go before it closes.

That is of course only if people dont think "" yeah yeah heard it all before that its shutting " and stay away in droves.
Thats why its up to us to make sure the club does not endure a slow painful arduous death and is forgotten about quickly, we need to make the final countdown, NIGHTS to remember!!

Steve told me all about this at Southport at the weekend, it's such a shame. He summed it up though saying that at least once they've knocked it down and built the old peoples flats, it will still be full of dribbling wrecks!!

Gutted as dont think I can make this as off to Marbella the following week and need all my pennies.

Rambo, do you reckon there any way we can part of Yateley Corner when they knock it down for sentimental reasons?

Had too many good nights there to mention and WILL miss it big time!!!
