First of all this is a forum for people who actually go to this great club and not for bitter people who have never stepped through the doors.
I remember growing up there was always an aura about Pantiles and when me and the lads made our first trek up there wondering whether we would even make it past the first obsticle the DOORMEN. Well we did make it and to be honest with you I am very happy for this.
Its taken its stick over the years and crowds have dwindled as more and more clubs and pubs have opened and late liscencing has come in but....... 40 years this July !!!!
How many other places have gone to pot around it.
JULY 14TH 2007 is the day that the curtain will finally come down on the legend of Pantiles as a nightclub. Christ my dad went there when he was young. Afew of my mates give me stick and call Pantiles my 2nd home and many of you know that we have tried to e create the glory days over the last 6 months and crowds were on the up again until recently. Well my 2nd home is now saying a final farewell and I hope alot of people come out of the wood work over the next 7 or 8 weeks to pay your respects to a place that has been unique in its class for a long long time now . And please remember when it is gone the will be nothing else like it ever again.
We have alot of things planned for the last couple of months leading up to the close inc once again taking our So? Boat Party Afterparty there on the penultimate week July 7th where the fun starts once again 6.30 pm in the evening sun. And a special return of the Ladies night where all the ladies get in free on Sat 30th June.
I call on all of you to write one last chapter in the book and show your faces on at least one Saturday night leading up to the Finale. And give the club the send off it absolutely fucking deserves.
And no nicking the Wagon Wheels .... I have first dibs on them

Never been to a more friendly club. Met so many fab mates there over the years will be sad to see it close. I think a few tears will be shed!

I'm sure will all meet up in a few years when we're all living in the old peoples home!

Pantiles is an amazing place !! I have made magnificent friends and acquantainces there!! Having to rethink my whole socialising arena now its going( sob, sob!!) But I will be having it messy for these last few weeks!! Pantiles you have been a lifestyle!! (",) xx

Bloody typical, i go and get pregnant again and now im going to miss some of the best nights ever!!! How rude is that!?!
I think they should postpone it just for me!! My mum did say the other week that Pantiles would close now that i am not out drinking! lol

Seriously tho, my mum did used to go there when she was younger (and recently with me) and it is such a shame, youre always guaranteed a good night when you there.

Well all have an extra messy time for me and make sure its a good one, i want lots of photographic evidence of messiness so i can sit at home and kind of share your fun by laughing at you all in such a state! x

Don't worry the front bar lives on....I have received confirmation that we can add the front bar round the back at H.Q!!!! WALLOP!
