Now in its fourth year, the amateur pole dancing competition, which is unique to the Que Pasa chain, begins later this month. And with a brand new BMW Mini worth over £10,000 on offer for the ultimate winner, the competition promises to be hot! Said Tim Bird, operations director for Que Pasa: “PoleCatsTM has gone from strength to strength over the years and is now synonymous with Que Pasa in the autumn. Even before we put out the promotion details in our bars, people were coming in to ask when the next PoleCatsTM would be, so we’re looking forward to an excellent competition.” Individual bar heats at Que Pasa venues across the UK will take place over four weeks commencing week beginning October 16, with the bar finals taking place week beginning November 13. The winners from each bar will then go forward to one of two regional finals with the top five dancers in each going through to the grand final on Thursday December 7 at Que Pasa in Cheltenham. The competition, which is sponsored by Dooley’s, is open to both male and female dancers with points being awarded for entertainment value, presence/talent, originality, wow factor and crowd appreciation. Entry forms are available now from Que Pasa.
