FRIDAY 4th APRIL FRIDAY 11TH APRIL AT THE BIZZ (TOP FLOOR) THIS WEEK - FRIDAY 4th APRIL: ALEX HERO (Shameful - KOKO, Pacha, The Cross, Ministry Of Sound, EGG,) Heavy Set DJs (ES Residents, and the saviour of Canterbury's House Scene) Mezza Breaks (Basslick - Maidstone, and general local legends) Stu Chapman (Special Funky House Set) A bit about our Headliner: Alex Hero started Djing way back in the mid 90s across the pirate radio stations of N and E London under alias: Lex. He soon earnt residency at Bagley's (canvas). In 2006 he teamed with Jeff Nonstop and the 'Nonstop Heroes' we formed. They took London by storm, dominating club land throughout 2006 and 2007. They gained residencies at almost every major night from Smartie Partie to Space to Dirty Angels to Dirty Disco. They then took their own night 'Precious People' to Pacha and the Cross(RIP). 2008 and Alex is playing as a solo DJ once again. He now co-runs Shameful (recently @ KOKO). And YUK, the 800 capacity house room at the UK's longest running event, Raindance. 'ELECTROSENTIAL' is the hottest event in Canterbury.. This night immediately sparked rave reviews in Local and Student Press and more recently featured in International Clubbing Magazine : mixmag!
