House Heaven - Where the music-loving clubber comes first!!!!!

The best of Cardiff's DJ's and live performers join forces to bring you House Heaven - first three Friday's of every month.

The launch party @ Aqua on 20th April kicked House Heaven off to a glittering start with over 200 clubbers tasting the fresh new sound of the cream of Cardiff's talent.

Throughout the night clubbers were entertained by the fantastic projected visuals and light show from Virtuality - a true top-line Cardiff talent.

Alex Gorman, House Heaven resident, started the night off with a blinding set of upbeat soul and American House. The crowd were up and jumping before eleven o'clock.

Next on was House Heaven resident, Cardiff veteran and Radio Wales DJ, John Lenney Jnr. John, who was recently awarded the MBE for services to music, further lifted the crowd with his own unique brand of soul, electro and American house. Look out for the House Heaven residents featuring on John's record label Move and Groove Records, Cardiff's unique house sound.

Guest DJ, Leon Henry brought his vibrant personality to his set of super upbeat American House, filling the dancefloor with excited clubbers during his midnight set.

By now, the evening was really kicking off - and it was still only 1am!!!

Dale Rees, guest DJ, kept the crowd on their feet, pushing the ever filling club of revellers towards the small hours with his exciting set of funky American House.

At 2am, the House Heaven residents took back over the decks for their signature brand of banging electro and funky house.

The Beatman Daymo joined his fellow residents, Luigi and Paul Lyons, bringing his now famous, unique, live House music percussion to the House Heaven clubbers. As ever, he truly astonished everyone with his totally improvised, off the cuff performance, fully utilizing his huge array of percussion instruments. His love of the music and the DJ's work shined through in a highly energetic and emotive performance.

This unique blend of talented resident DJ's, transforming club visuals and awesome live percussion is what delivers you to House Heaven.

Luigi took the crowd by storm. The buzz that had developed from the fine performances thoughout the night was now ready to peak. Still 2 hours left!!!

The clubbers were rocking through Luigi's hour long set - he really wowed the crowd with his banging tunes. Clubbers arms were now up in the air demanding more.

How could Paul Lyons possibly lift the crowd further?

At 3am, Paul Lyons with his harder-end of funky, electric-end of electro and urban house managed to pull this off with flair! By now a full Aqua was jumping to the beats.

The night ended at 4am with every ounce of energy squeezed out of the fulfilled clubbers!

At the end of the final DJ set there was a huge cheer and clapping as clubbers appreciated all the fantastic performers who had made this launch such a resounding success.

House Heaven has arrived!
