D.A.V.E the Drummer has been producing and releasing Techno records for about 14 years.

Since his first studio sessions upstairs in a pub in Deptford with the Liberator DJ’s, ex professional drummer D.A.V.E has made literally hundreds of underground Techno records.

He has recorded under many different aliases: Most commonly as D.A.V.E. The Drummer but also: Henry Cullen / Strobe / CO-AX / Secret Hero to name just a few.

Once the drummer for squat Dub/Punk band "Back To The Planet" in the 1980's, Dave's roots are firmly set in the heart of the UK underground scene. From squat parties to huge illegal raves and festivals, there's not much that he hasn't played at or been a part of. This is also reflected in the way Dave approaches his DJ'ing schedule and busy studio schedule, concentrating on music that turns him on and not on a commercial money making agenda.

In recent years DAVE’s sound has shifted away from the dark Acid sound of the London underground to a more polished Techno groove easily suited to today’s discerning dance floors. His recent minimal/tech house work with Shaun King, Pattrix, Nils Hess and Anderson Noise is beginning to reach new ears and open new doors in the club world.

DAVE's new label “Mutate to Survive”, distributed by InterGroove in Germany is up to it's 3rd release. Mutate to survive is picking up attention from some of the worlds top Techno DJ's, and the new Mutate to Survive night is attracting a lot of interest from fans in london.

Support on the night comes from our very own Paul Scheeres with Fatman & Jamie B B2B and newcomer Potter.

The Middle Room plays host to the finest Beats, Bass and Breaks with Dr. Nitrogen, Russ Evora, AP Bolan and Barley Will (Rajahs) providing quality tunes.
