evo is not closed.....it is open to private hire and thay have events booked already for 2007, its just a case of promoters wanting to pay the hire fee thay are asking for and i know this becouse i have spoke to the new manager and he said it is open for any dates aslong as its a private hire and the fee is X amount, which will put alot of promoters off hiring the venue but the event is 100% confirmed as i looked into hiring it for NY myself and was told it is already booked out for this event

Smart E is right, to go to Evolution now you have to pay a certain fee in a certain way and make cerrtain guarantees to keep your night in there. The fee is a lot more than ever paid for the venue and the numbers required is higher than anything Evolution has pulled in well over a year. Not going to disclose figures but this is why the confirmed events are happening as they are within them rules and regulations.

These reasons are why the Hardcore Evolution event is going ahead to have a crack at getting the place open regular with big events.
