A totally wicked night, an excellent event, And thats before i start my review of this brilliant event.

Well tonight's presentation was hastily arranged, another event was supposed to be held here but lucky for us it found another venue and Bionic & Hardcore Evolution was to take place instead,

Well i was out of the country when i heard that event was going to be held, As soon as i heard i hastily arranged a flight home. It took me 25 hour's to get home. It's a hectic 3 flights from Montigo Bay, Jamaica, Via Miami, I arrived home with a couple of day's to spare, The line-up was only finalised a few day's before, I got onto a couple of DJ's to see who was playing and i found out that my all-time favourite was playing UBERDRUCK, heeeeehaaaar, And also the obvious DJ's would play Brian M & McBunn, Cally & Juice and numerous other DJ's were to be present.

Well, my day started like any other, still pissed hanging from the night before. I knew i had to straighten up before i went to this event, As with many of you party people i was still on the road to recovery as many of you were. load's of drinking and partying hard.

I could not wait for 9pm to come around, It was fast approaching i took about 20 minutes to get ready, and my other 1/2 takes hour's to get ready. which is the usual thing for a woman, I get in my car for 8 o'clock to pick up a couple of other people who are going to EVOLUTION, I take them in and make my way back to Barry to pick up the other's who are accompanying me to this amazing event, I've got my usual camera, fag's and money, I make my way back in at 20 past 8 as i want to be the 1st to get in there, I get to the carpark and for once find a place straight away. I make my way to my all-time favourite club, As i arrive at the door's i can see quite a few people are queued up to get in, I do my usual thing and take a few pic's of the early clubber's, then i go inside the club, by this time it's about 1/4 to 9 and i'm in the club. It's been a while since i been in there, I take a good look around the main room was decorated much better than i have ever seen it before, The BIONIC insignia was everywhere, the place looked amazing, at the back of the venue was the most amazing VIP chill-out area nice comfortable chair's plant's here, there and everywhere, It was nice to see the place look the part, It is a longtime overdue, To me i think the new management have done a wicked job taking over the place, They are catering for everyone, VIP, paying punter's and DJ's, and doormen,

So tonight's festivities started a bit late, I wondered around the place some more waiting for the punter's to be aloud in but it seem to take forever, The event was supposed to start at 9pm but didnt start untill way after 10 o'clock, The 1st DJ of the night was supposed to be DAN-E-BOY but he got held up, So ESTEE took to playing the deck's to an empty room as they still werent letting anyone in, but atleast ESTEE got to warm the deck's up for the next DJ's, Meanwhile the other room was not ready, It needed a few final touches to get the room together, but eventually it was done, Eventually they started letting the paying customer in after what seemed a lifetime of waiting, And in no-time atall ESTEE was playing her final track to make way for my favourite, UBERDRUCK & SLIDEOUT, people were coming in slowly but surely UBERDRUCK & SLIDEOUT were playing back to back, They played a fine set from begining until the very end, Track after track was amazing, This was hardstyle at it's very best, And what a wicked way to bring in the new year, As they were nearing the end of their set and the new year was approaching there was a hell of a bang to bring in the new year, i nearly shit myself, everyone was celebrating the turn of the new year in style, HAPPY NEW YEAR is all i could hear from everyone, I managed to take a few pic's of UBERDRUCK & SLIDEOUT for myself. I dont think i would of rather spent my new year with anyone else or come to think of it anywhere else, The hardstylers UBERDRUCK & SLIDEOUT were brilliant, what more can i say, fandabbydozy, on the deck's to see the new year in were the brother's THE ORGAN DONOR'S, this was yet again another fine set played by these boy's. I was watching everyone enjoy themselves, They were getting there money's worth, The room was buzzing with excitment, I was in my element, up behind the DJ's, watching them at work doing a fine job, The only downer for me was having to wait until 12 o'clock for a cigarette, and i had been in there since 1/4 to 9. i needed a nicotene fix and so did my misses she was getting right worked up. I was in and out for a cigarette so many time's throughout the night i went through quite a few, Once again i managed to speak to UBERDRUCK & SLIDEOUT and JOHN before they head off for their next gig, So after seeing them off i was back off upstair's to see what was happening, The place was absolutely banging the dancefloor was full, the bars were doing a brisk trade so what more can 1 ask for, I don't think i have seen so many spotter's in 1 place, it was good to meet the 1s that i did on the night. Up on the deck's next was THE ACTIVATOR on he come's playing with the mixer, twiddling the knob's and button's in only the way he could, but by this time i was now relaxing in the VIP chill-out area, and also i was in the hardcore room to see the hardcore nutter's using up there energy, I can tell you now they can dance, and the dj's can play it hard and fast, it was slightly to fast for me, The Mc's do a job and a 1/2 i dont think i could keep up the Mc'in all night. i would lose my voice, and the DJ's they play the deck's superb, I think i must be getting a bit on in life now, I like DARREN STYLES but he didnt put in an appearance tonight, but i didnt expect him to. But i do know that he will be in EVOLUTION for THE REAL DEAL so i will be there for that 1 most definately. Once again i'm outside having a nicotene fix chatting to some random clubber about some random shit, then i'm back off upstairs, And on the deck's were another of my favourite DJ's BRIAN M & McBUNN fair do's these guy's can play the deck's they played a lot of their
own tracks and remixes,

just got home now loved every minute both rooms were rocking all night, it was a pleasure to be part of it

Just like to say what a pleasure it was to be back in Cardiff last night, and to get to work with Ham for the first set of 2k8 was quality.

The place was rammmed when i left and everyone looked like they were having an awesome time, so i'd like to say a massive thanks to Wotsee, Kev and all the Hardcore Evolution crew, aswell as all the Bionic massive for having me down again, and i'll hopefully see alot of the Hardcore heads who smashed that arena 2 last night @ Atomic on Jan. 25th.

Once again cheers for a wicked night to finish off the year and bring in what should be another stormer for Hardcore i'm sure no doubt.

Totally agree, fantastic job from everybody involved, its hard to believe that EVOLUTION almost never had a NYE event after the promotion that originally booked NYE pulled out and went elsewhere.

Disapointing to see 'CANCELLED' stickers on our posters a few days before what was our 1st in-house promotion since purchasing the venue. does South Wales clubbing really have to be this petty??

On the night this was all about the clubbers, and it was good to see them vote with feet, we really do have to say a big thank you to all of the people who came out and supported this event.

We've got a number of new events arriving at the venue in 2008, we didn't purchase the venue for it to be open only once or twice a month. We are pleased to have GOODGREEF on board, who will be hosting monthly events at the venue in 2008, everybody knows the DJ's and events that GOODGREEF are associated with, and yes, thanks to GOODGREEF you will be able to see EDDIE (along with the biggest names in Dance) back at the venue in 2008.

The association with GOODGREEF was only confirmed on Xmas Eve, I am sure that you will agree that in just a few days they have assembled an awesome line-up for the Launch Party despite being busy with Xmas events and the NEC NYE. So nice one guys! We have apoligise for the quality of the 1st run of flyers, they were printed in-house on NYE, because all the printers were shut, lol.

So once again a big thank you to all YOU CLUBBERS, and everybody involved in NYE, and a big thank you to GOODGREEF for bringing the BIG NAMES back to EVO in 2008.

Jesus Bloody christ! Another event to take all my money away!!!! As if Bionic wasn't enough,lol. I love Goodgreef, i was well chuffed when i saw the posters in Evo last night! :D

We had an absolutely excellent time last night! I've always gone to Evo purely because Bionic was there! I've always disiked Evo for my own reasons but last night I really enjoyed being in the club! Good atmosphere, decor the lot like! Everything was awsome and made this New years eve bloody marvellous! Thank You!

It was great seeing everyone again too last night, got to catch up with a lot of peeps and everyone was completely buzzing from the atmosphere! :D
